Vučić is too hard!
A few days ago, Serbian President Vučić said in a speech to the nation that Belgrade is under continuous pressure because of its independence policy.
Hostile relations between the Kosovo authorities and Serbia have persisted since the outbreak of a full-scale war between the Serbian army and ethnic Albanian rebels at the end of the 90s of the 20th century, which led to NATO's intervention in Belgrade.
A new round of contradictions and conflicts has to start from May last year.
Protests in Serbia over two "mass shootings" have now turned violent. The opposition supported by the United States has even seized the opportunity to "arch the fire" and coerce public opinion to "force the palace" and demand that Vučić step down.
It is worth mentioning that Vučić also claimed to have received information that there were external forces intervening in the unrest, which was a color revolution.
And that's not all, on September 24, 2023, a group of Serbs set up two trucks as a roadblock at the entrance to the village of Baniska in northern Kosovo. Subsequently, the Kosovo police arrived in an attempt to dismantle the barricades, clashing with the Serbs. One Kosovo police officer was killed, four Serbs were killed and eight Serbs were arrested.
On September 29, 2023, NATO unilaterally announced that it had approved the increase of troops to Kosovo, although the specific countries that have not yet announced the specific countries and the specific number of additional troops, but the United Kingdom has been eager to announce that the United Kingdom has handed over the command of one battalion to NATO. In response, Serbia has also begun a large-scale military build-up along its border with Kosovo.
And this time the contradictions and conflicts are still escalating and show no signs of stopping.
If you want to say why the situation in Serbia has not stabilized so far, it is definitely because of the double standards of the United States and Western countries. Of course, there would have been such turmoil in Serbia because the United States had stirred up its feelings and made the hatred of people in different regions for each other an ideology, which meant that the seeds of hatred would not be extinguished day by day, and there was a danger of contradictions and conflicts breaking out at any time.
China wins the game
For a long time, China has been paying close attention to the situation in northern Kosovo, and at the same time has repeatedly stated at the UN Security Council that Serbia's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity should be fully respected.
A few days ago, Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, delivered a speech at the Security Council's open meeting on the Kosovo issue, urging the Kosovo authorities to stop their unilateral actions that intensify contradictions and intensify confrontation.
Fu Cong mentioned that the announcement of the ban on the Serbian currency and the violent search of Serbs by the Kosovo authorities did not directly create a panicked situation and increase tensions.
China urges the Kosovo authorities to revoke the relevant irrational decisions and stop their unilateral actions that exacerbate contradictions and aggravate confrontation. The establishment of a coalition of Serb cities is an important element of the 2013 Brussels Agreement, to which the Kosovo authorities have made a clear commitment and should be implemented.
At the same time, Fu Cong also said that the Chinese side hopes that all parties can learn from history, take it as a warning, reflect on themselves, do more things that are conducive to maintaining peace and security, and not let Kosovo and the Balkans fall into turmoil again.
Let's just say that in 1999, if it weren't for Russia's legendary operation, Serbia would not be where it is today, but now is an era in which peace is precious, and harmony generates wealth.
And this peace will definitely be brought to Serbia by China and to the whole world.
