In order to further promote the construction of the "safe cultural market", from April 23rd to 24th, the Xian'an District Cultural Market Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade and the Fushan Street Comprehensive Law Enforcement Center carried out special rectification actions on the cultural market in the jurisdiction.
The action will focus on the cultural market around the primary and secondary school campuses in the jurisdiction, and comprehensively inspect and regulate the surrounding business premises. Law enforcement officers focused on inspecting whether there are commercial Internet cafes, entertainment venues, e-sports hotels and other places around the campus that prohibit minors from entering, as well as whether there are illegal mobile vendors. At the same time, strict examination was carried out on whether there were illegal acts such as the sale of terrorist, superstitious, vulgar toys, publications, and "pocket books", and illegal acts of accepting minors in Internet cafes, entertainment venues, and e-sports hotels were investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law.
In the process of law enforcement, law enforcement personnel not only publicized and educated the owners and employees of various business establishments on laws and regulations, popularized the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors", "Regulations on the Administration of Publications", "Regulations on the Administration of Entertainment Venues" and other relevant laws and regulations, but also emphasized that all business establishments should earnestly perform their main responsibilities, strictly prohibit the acceptance of minors, consciously resist all kinds of illegal publications, and ensure standardized management and legal operation.
A total of 6 books and 2 "cigarette cards" were removed from the shelves in this operation, effectively purifying the cultural market environment around the campus. In the next step, the District Bureau of Culture and Tourism will work with relevant units to continue to take measures that combine special rectification and long-term management, carry out normalized management of the surrounding environment of the campus, resolutely investigate and deal with all kinds of illegal business activities, effectively maintain the order of the surrounding environment of the campus within its jurisdiction, and create good conditions for the healthy growth of minors.
