April 23 is the 29th World Book Day. In the afternoon of the same day, the 2024 "Scholarly Ten Thousand Volumes 'Reading' to See Spring" activity of the Wen County Education System, sponsored by the County Education Bureau and co-organized by the County Fourth Experimental Primary School, was held.
The event kicked off with a cheerful poetry and dance "Spring Dawn". Subsequently, poetry recitations such as "The Four Seasons in Ancient Poems", "The Book of Rites" and "In My Heart<七律长征>" were staged in turn. The poetry recitation "You Should Be Like a Bird Flying to Your Mountain" pushed the atmosphere to a climax and won applause from the audience.
"Accompanied by reading, looking for poetry and distant places in life, I believe that in the days when the fragrance of books is abundant, I will become happier and happier. Zhi Mingxuan, a third-grade student at Wenxian No. 2 Experimental Primary School, said.
It is understood that more than 270 teachers, students and parents participated in the event, aiming to let more people understand the fun and value of reading, improve the reading interest and reading level of teenagers, and create a good reading atmosphere for reading and lifelong learning for all.
