On April 25, the Chinese version of the IONIQ 5 N, the second model introduced by the Hyundai N brand to the Chinese market, was unveiled and will be available for pre-order in June. Positioned as a mid-size SUV, the new model features striking black trim parts and a rear spoiler with an airfoil for a high-performance sporty look.
The front side of the IONIQ 5 N is equipped with an N Mask grille guard, grille and three front active air intakes, with N-specific high-mounted brake lights integrated into the spoiler and an N-specific black bumper cover under the rear hatch with a checkered flag reflector pattern.
The IONIQ 5 N is equipped with dual 12.3-inch floating screens and a three-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel with drive mode adjustment. The center console tunnel area is equipped with a large number of physical buttons, which maintain a certain mechanical texture.
The IONIQ 5 N is powered by two electric motors with a maximum output of 448 kW and a maximum torque of 740 Nm. When the N Grin Boost function is activated, the vehicle's power can be increased from 448 kW to 478 kW for 10 seconds. The new car is equipped with an 84.0 kWh high-capacity battery and 800V battery technology, which can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
