On the occasion of the "National Culture, Science and Technology and Health 'Three to the Countryside' (Anhui Province) Centralized Demonstration Activity" and the "Better Life, Civil Code Accompaniment" Civil Code Publicity Month, Anhui Provincial Library and Anhui Business Daily went to Subu Bayi Hope Primary School in Yu'an District, Lu'an City to carry out the donation activity of Love and Happy Library, and donated to build the 116th and 117th "Love and Happy Library".
Co-sponsored by Anhui Provincial Library and Anhui Business Daily, the "Love One Day Donation" public welfare activity was launched on March 5, 2010 "Learning from Lei Feng Day", advocating caring people from all walks of life to donate extracurricular reading materials, stationery, teaching aids and other items, and donating to build "Love and Happy Library" for schools in rural areas that lack extracurricular books. As of April 2024, 115 "Love and Happy Libraries" have been donated across the country, benefiting tens of thousands of rural children.
In this book donation activity, Anhui Provincial Library and Anhui Business Daily carefully selected 4,000 books of various types, including youth literature, literary masterpieces, revolutionary culture, popular science knowledge, etc., which greatly enriched the school's book resources.
