In order to conscientiously implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and promote the study and education of party discipline to be deeper and more practical, on April 22, Chengdong District focused on key positions, key areas, and key links, and organized 120 party members and leading cadres in the district to enter the new prison in Qinghai Province to carry out "embedded" warning education activities.
Under the guidance and explanation of the prison staff, we visited the industrial labor site, labor service site and living quarters of the prisoners in the prison, felt the "iron window" life of the prisoners within the high walls, and listened to the introduction of the staff's management system, the reform of the prisoners and the results of education and reform. Through real cases and profound explanations, everyone deeply felt the sacred majesty of party discipline and state law through understanding the life without freedom within the "high walls", and realized the serious consequences of violating discipline and law and the necessity of strengthening honesty and self-discipline.
During the event, 2 inmates "showed up" to tell the process from "young and promising" to "ignoring the bottom line", and listened to their remorse and mental journey by watching the "confessions" of inmates. The loss of ideals and convictions and the weak awareness of party discipline and laws are the fundamental reasons why they have slipped step by step into the abyss of crime, and their momentary greed has led to them being imprisoned, separated from their wives, and finally becoming prisoners "within high walls." The real and vivid cases, the heart-wrenching confessions, and the eyes that yearn for freedom are like a powerful "preservative" with a needle, profoundly warning party members and cadres that "don't stretch out your hand, you will be caught if you stretch out your hand", and always remember that guarding the bottom line and the red line is to keep your family and freedom.
Always have a heart of self-discipline and always think about the harm of greed. Through this "zero-distance" and "immersive" warning education activity, every party member and leading cadre present deeply realized the life gap between "under the high wall" and "inside the bars" and the tragic price of violating discipline and law.
