In order to thoroughly implement the national, provincial, municipal, and district arrangements for safe production and forest and grassland fire prevention and extinguishing work, further improve the coordinated linkage mechanism of fire prevention and fire fighting in our district, improve the ability of actual combat drills and disposal, exercise the emergency rescue team, and effectively run in the linkage mechanism of various functional departments, on April 24, the Forest Prevention Office of Chengdong District organized and carried out the 2024 forest and grassland fire prevention and emergency response drill.
The drill scenario is based on the recent high temperature and lack of rain in Xining, the forest fire danger level has risen as the background, the Najiashan rangers in the eastern district of the city found the fire point when patrolling the mountain, and the fire spread rapidly, posing a threat to the surrounding ecology and living environment, and launched a series of rescue and rescue operations on this scenario. After the rangers found the fire, they immediately reported to the District Forest Prevention Office, and after reporting level by level, the Chengdong District Government immediately launched the "Xining Chengdong District Forest and Grassland Fire Emergency Plan", and all departments and relevant member units immediately rushed to the scene to implement the rescue and rescue operation under the unified command of the district government, and the drill dispatched more than 100 people from emergency, firefighting, public security, urban management, construction, medical and other security teams, dispatched more than 16 vehicles of various types, and equipped more than 100 sets.
After the exercise, the district forest prevention office and experts commented, the exercise, combined with the forest and grassland fire prevention and extinguishing work in our district, effectively improved the overall command level, organization and coordination ability and fire disposal ability, enhanced the rapid response and collaborative combat ability of each member unit and the professional and semi-professional fire fighting team to quickly assemble and efficiently fight the actual combat skills, realized a variety of operation modes of joint operations, a number of subjects are carried out simultaneously, clarify the work responsibilities of each forest defense member unit, and improve the actual combat emergency command system.
In the next step, the District Forest Prevention Office took the problems found in the drill as an opportunity to further strengthen measures, strengthen the training of emergency response teams and the construction of fire-fighting capabilities, comprehensively improve the level of emergency management, and ensure the safety of forest resources and people's lives and property in the jurisdiction.
