On April 22, the 2024 "Green Pine Cup" cultural and sports competition of the Shenmu City Veteran Cadre Activity Center kicked off. It is understood that the competition lasted for five days, with a total of five competitions: chess, checkers, table tennis, billiards and gateball, and nearly 100 veteran cadres participated.
At the scene of the chess competition, the atmosphere was tense and orderly, and the old cadres were engrossed in the fierce chessboard duel, carefully thinking about the position of each piece. The two sides of the game lined up their troops, fought wits and courage, and staged a silent "Chu River Han Realm" hegemony between the ups and downs, showing their love and persistence for chess.
This competition has built a platform for veteran cadres to learn from each other, connect with each other and enhance friendship, fully demonstrating the high-spirited outlook of retired veteran cadres and creating a vigorous and healthy sports atmosphere.
