IT Home reported on April 25 that on April 25, the International Data Corporation (IDC) released a tracking report on China's mobile phone market in the first quarter of 2024, with Honor winning the first place with a market share of 17.1%, Huawei accounting for 17.0% ranking second, and OPPO, Apple and vivo ranking third to fifth respectively.

IDC report shows that Huawei's market share in the first quarter of 2024 increased by 110.0% year-on-year, and the market is hotly discussing that Honor will be the most affected after Huawei's full return, but judging from the data, Honor still maintains stable growth, with a year-on-year increase of 13.2%. This is also the only two mobile phone manufacturers among the top five manufacturers with a year-on-year increase in market share.

According to Wang Jiping, vice president of IDC China, Honor's mobile phone market share in the first quarter is right, among which the first quarter shipments of the Honor Magic6 series exceeded the sum of the shipments of the previous two quarters of the previous generation of products, and the share of Honor folding screen mobile phones increased by up to 675.4% year-on-year. In the first quarter of this year, Honor's high-end market share of more than $600 increased significantly, with a year-on-year increase of 123.3%, and the high-end market share was second only to Apple and Huawei.

It is worth mentioning that in the same IDC statistics, Honor ranked first in the Android camp in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the whole year of 2023 in terms of shipments in the Chinese market.
