This year, the opening time of cherry blossoms has been postponed, and the initial opening of the urban area has been postponed to mid-April, and Lushun District is even later, and it is late in mid-to-late April.
That is to say, as long as there is no wind and rain in the weather, there should be no pressure for Dalian cherry blossoms to last until early May this year, and the cherry blossom season can be renewed during the May Day holiday!
If you don't catch up with the cherry blossom season in Dalian, it won't be a big problem, and May will be the time period for the high-frequency occurrence of blue tears in Dalian.
You can ask an old master casually, Lushun's small black stone, big black stone, pai stone and other sea areas, see the fluorescent sea is famous in the whole country, and Pingtan is just one south and one north.
And is there really no one to boast about Dalian's appearance! The coastal city has its own romantic attributes in its genes, the neat square city, the century-old retro tram, and the various splendid spring flowers in spring.

How to play in Dalian?
Dalian is a big city! The first time I came for 4 days and 3 nights is a "starting price". Let me first list the important attractions according to the region, so that the idea of how to play in Dalian will be available.

Lushun District | Lushun Museum, Lushun Railway Station, Lushun Russo-Japanese Prison Site Museum, Taiyanggou Historic District, Baiyushan
Among them, Zhongshan District and Xigang District are both part of the urban area of Dalian and can be played together. And Jinzhou and Lushun are a little far from the city, so it is recommended to take them out separately as a destination for a day trip.

Where to go for cherry blossom viewing in Dalian?
- Urban area: Labor Park, Dalian Botanical Garden
- Golden State: Fortress Hill Park
- Lushun District: Longwangtang Cherry Garden, Lushun 203 Cherry Garden, Cherry Blossom Avenue (Chaohai Street, Bayi Street, Stalin Road)
If you have made up your mind to enjoy the flowers in downtown Dalian, I recommend Labor Park.
The main reason is that the location of the Labor Park is convenient and connected with other scenic spots, so you don't have to turn back and run.
It is the largest park in downtown Dalian, and the cherry blossoms only make up a small part of it, but it's beautiful. You can enter from the north gate, and the cherry blossom avenue is just across from the peony garden.
Let me show you the real shot of 4.20, I can see that the cherry blossoms can last at least a week.
The cherry blossom season ends early in the city, but the entire labor park continues to bloom from April to May!
Peach blossoms, magnolias, tulips, and peonies are all scheduled, especially begonias, where the flowering period and cherry blossoms are seamless. In April, spring in the Northeast has begun to be very enthusiastic.
The two cherry blossom gardens in Lushun, I would like to put them together for comparison.
But the time I went was still "almost hot", so I had to put photos from previous years.
Longwangtang is the oldest, the early cherry blossom trees are planted by the Japanese, there are more than 5,000 cherry trees in the park, and there are 10 100-year-old cherry trees on the north side of the garden.
The older the tree and the larger the canopy, the reason why the cherry blossoms in Longwangtang are beautiful is that they don't need any bells and whistles, they all rely on the number to win.
The whole park of Longwangtang is smaller than 203, but she has the advantage of convenient transportation, the subway goes directly to [Longwangtang Station], and it takes 15-20 minutes to walk out of the station.
On the other hand, the Lushun Cherry Garden (the locals used to call him 203 Cherry Garden) is also very powerful, and it is the largest, largest and most complete cherry garden in the Northeast.
There are more than 30 varieties of Chinese cherry blossoms, Japanese early cherry blossoms, Yae cherry blossoms, mountain cherry blossoms, Korean yellow cherry blossoms, American green cherry blossoms, Canadian red leaf cherry blossoms, Japanese weeping cherry blossoms, etc. As many varieties as possible, the flowering period can be extended as much as possible.
Lushun Cherry Garden is also the main venue for the annual Dalian International Cherry Blossom Festival, during which there are various activities and programs.
The scenic area is relatively not so convenient, and there is a direct train to and from the city during the cherry blossom festival, so in terms of the overall experience, I would recommend Lushun Cherry Garden.
Lushun cherry blossom garden is still quite big, visit for 3-4 hours.
The urban area is close and the transportation is convenient, but the cherry blossoms are small, and although Lushun is far away, the cherry blossoms are spectacular and beautiful, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
If you are going to go to Golden Pebble Beach, Fortress Hill Park can go together, otherwise you will live in the city and come to it too much.

How to play in Dalian outside of flower viewing?
The [Dalian Spring Outing Route] listed in front of me, the KPI of each day is actually very clear - one day to watch the seagulls on the Binhai Road, another day to see the cherry blossoms in Lushun Humanities, and finally one day to stay in the urban area to take a bath + dry rice, focusing on one eye, mouth and legs, no one can be idle.
There are many places to see the sea in Dalian, so I don't consider Jinshitan so far here, and focus on Binhai Road.
Let's just say that Dalian's Binhai Road is nearly 40 kilometers long, and the pedestrian plank road alone is more than 20 kilometers. This innate scenery and acquired configuration, I haven't found the second one in the whole of China.
Dalian Binhai Road can be roughly divided into 4 sections: the west, middle, east, and north lines, and they are not completely connected to each other.
- North Line: Donghai Park→ Eighteen Pan → Strange Slopes→ Haizhiyun Park→ Bangchuidao
- Eastern Route: Bangchuidao → Stone Trough → Laohutan Ocean Park
- Middle section: Laohutan Ocean Park→ North Bridge→ Bird's Nest Ridge→ Xiuyuefeng → Fujiazhuang Beach
- West section: Fujiazhuang Beach→ Golden Beach→ Silver Beach→ Baiyun Mountain → Nandating → Forest Zoo→ Lianhuashan → Xinghai Square → Black Rock Reef Park
It is not necessary to go through the whole course, the focus can be on the short but concise western route, if you want to enrich the itinerary, you can add the middle line of tourism development is very mature.
We wrote about Dalian's plan to see the sea last summer, across most of China, and found our favorite coastal old town this summer!
I'd like to pick a few points that I like and highlight them.
Bangchuidao Island and Sea Rhyme Park are next to each other, so you can go together.
Bangchuidao is a beach surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the entrance fee is 20 yuan, which is worth the money. When the weather is good, the sea of Bangchuidao can see that the blue and blue are blue, and the beach is not bad.
To make a point, I recommend visiting Bangchuidao first, and then the charm of the sea. There is only one gate on Bangchui Island, and as soon as you come out, it happens to be the south gate of Haizhiyun Park, and then you go out from the north gate.
Because the north gate is close to the strange slope, as soon as you come up, you will be so tired that you vomit blood when you go up to the highest difficulty!
It is recommended to take the sightseeing car, the route is the south gate of the sea → the sunrise square→ the strange slope (near the north gate of the sea rhyme), this road is boring and long, and we still have to spend the money.
If you want to take pictures of the main island of Bangchuijima, there is a camera in the Rising Sun Square, where you can climb high and overlook Bangmao Island, and sightseeing cars are also there.
The focus of the sea is the morning light beach, and the view of the sea is very broad.
If you are not confident in your physical strength, you can consider Fujiazhuang, Golden Beach, Silver Beach, and Dalian Beach have a lot of choices.
After the end of the trip, you can take a taxi directly to [Haizhiyun Bus Station], and take a bus from here to the end of Route 201 [Huale Square Station], this section of the road is free!
There are still several cities in China that have trams, but Dalian is the only mainland city that has never been interrupted.
There are two main tram routes that are still in operation, No. 201 (Xinggong Street - Huale Plaza, 04:40-23:30) and No. 202 (Xiaoping Daoqian - Xinggong Street, 05:30-22:00).
But the 201 is a retro wooden carriage with a higher appearance, so I recommend you take this trip.
If you want to take a baby, I recommend you to take the coastal road of Xinghai Square→ Fujiazhuang Beach→ Laohutan Ocean Park→ Fisherman's Wharf, the itinerary is relatively easier.
Xinghai Square is very lively from day to night, and this area is also very concentrated.
If you want to visit Laohutan Ocean Park seriously, you can play for a day.
You can purchase a pass for the 5 venues of the Polar Pavilion, the Coral Pavilion (the largest in Asia), the Sea Beast Pavilion, the Bird Forest, and the Joy Theater, and each venue is huge, and you can rent a trolley in the museum.
There is also the longest cross-sea aerial cableway in China, with a total length of 1,200 meters and a height of 50 meters, which can overlook the whole picture of Laohutan, with tickets of 80/person for one way and 100 per person for round trip.
The ropeway is from the main park to the Bird Forest, and if you walk by yourself, this section will take about 30 minutes.
There is a sandy beach on the edge of Tiger Beach, where you can dig sand and camp.
Another distance from Laohutan is a starting price, you can go to the Fisherman's Wharf where the first generation of Dalian took pictures.
The color of the house is not as fierce as P on the Internet, but it is still out on a sunny day.
You can prepare some snacks in advance when you come to Fisherman's Wharf, but be careful that there is a "good shi" coming, I heard that being smashed by bird droppings is the identity sign of authentic Dalian.
At the end of the day's itinerary, I recommend staying in Donggang.
Now the most popular check-in place in Dalian is the Gangdong Fifth Street, which "goes straight to the sea".
At 10:00, 10:20, and 10:50, there will be cruise ships passing by Gangdong 5th Street, and the road will be temporarily closed during these times, so be sure to pay attention to traffic safety when taking photos at other times.
After watching the beautiful sunset over East Port, you can stop by to see the Musical Fountain. Monday to Thursday and Sunday 20:00-20:30 every day, Friday, Saturday and statutory holidays 19:30-20:00 and 20:30-21:00.
And there are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity (Pinhailou, Riyuesheng, Xiding, Rifengyuan, Hutongli...... After eating, I also watched the most beautiful night view of Venice Water City. This schedule is so fulfilling, and the graduate students have to say a word of convincing when they see it.
In addition, I would like to add traffic information here.
At present, there is no public transportation in Dalian that can cover the entire Binhai Road, and the best solution is to open a tourist loop sightseeing bus from April 1 to October 31.
The single line is 20 yuan, there is an explanation on the car, and the stations along the way can be up and down infinitely, which is very practical for us tourists.
I don't recommend cycling on the Corniche, although there are boardwalks, there are no dedicated bike paths.
There are a lot of up and down ramps in the whole city of Dalian, which has a certain danger, and I recommend everyone to combine bus + walking.
A Lushun mouth, half of modern history, another choice for Dalian to see the sea is Lushun.
Lushun's outstanding mountain and sea scenery, heavy cultural history, coupled with the buff of the cherry blossom season, Lushun is a place that I think is worth spending a day in-depth travel.

Lushun: I suggest starting with the Lushun Museum to get to know him slowly.
Although the title is only the name of the district, the Lushun Museum is one of the first first-class museums in the country, with more than 60,000 precious cultural relics.
The Lushun Museum has several must-see treasures.
The two ancient corpses of Gaochang unearthed from Xinjiang were discovered by the Japanese expedition team during the expedition to the Western Regions, which are very precious, but it is forbidden to take pictures.
Lu Fangding of the Western Zhou Dynasty, a precious national treasure during the reign of King Mu of Zhou.
Tang clay sculpture painted female figurines head, Tang Xinjiang region and the Central Plains aesthetic fusion work.
There is also the world's earliest Chinese scripture writing, and there is the only ancient Indian stone carved Buddha statue in China...... I recommend reserving 2-3h for Lushun Museum.
The Lushun Museum is located in the Sun Gully Scenic Area, which is the area with the highest concentration of exotic buildings in Lushun Japan and Russia.
Many old houses are idle and abandoned, and you can only pat the exterior of the building, what is commendable is the sense of life here, and the history is alive.
Recommended order of visits: Lushun Station→ Victory Tower→ former site of the Kanto Prefecture Office→ Sino-Soviet Friendship Tower→ Kondrachenko's former residence→ Prince Su's Mansion→ Yamato Hotel
There is also a 1,772-meter-long cherry blossom avenue with more than 500 cherry blossom trees in Sun Valley, but if you don't want to go to 203 or Longwangtang, you can save more time by coming to Sun Ditch to enjoy the flowers.
The second stop is the Lushun Russo-Japanese Prison Site Museum, an eerie, terrifying and depressing prison that once devoured the Chinese.
Cell, Azugen Cell, Secret Cell, Detention Lounge, Guard's Room, Torture Room, Detention Stand, Relic Exhibition, Teaching Room...... The impact of what you play on TV and what you see in reality is not the same thing at all.
When we visit the ruins, we have to remember the history.
As a background supplement, you can watch the documentary "Lushun Memory" before coming, or squat on the hour to watch the free explanation, the whole process is about 1h.
Change your mood, and when you come out of the museum, you can go to the Baiyushan Scenic Area.
Baiyushan occupies a terrain, and when you climb the observation deck, you can overlook the whole picture of Lushunkou Military Port and Lushun City. The ticket to Baiyushan is 40 yuan during the day and free at night.
There are some more scattered points in Lushun, which I will introduce here.
The current [Tahewan Station] is almost more popular than the old Internet celebrity of Lushun Station, this station is an above-ground station, you can take a frame photo of the train and the sea, Lushun Station is one stop ahead, but I still don't think it's too necessary to go specifically.
At the intersection of Bingang Road in Haiying Street, you can take pictures of the effect that the end of the road is the sea, which can be regarded as the "replacement" of the most popular Gangdong Fifth Street.
Not far away is the World Peace Park, where you can ride the Ferris wheel, feed the seagulls, have a beautiful sunset, and have a night market at night.
Lushun Museum (Sun Gully Scenic Area), Baiyushan Tower, and Lushun Russo-Japanese Prison Site Museum are all located in the main city of Lushun, not far away, and public transportation is also very convenient.
There is also a well-known dividing line between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea, and you can really see a clear line when the weather is good, but the location is far away, so I recommend not going.
To sum up, the Lushun one-day tour route is: Lushun Museum (Sun Gully Scenic Area→ Lushun Russo-Japanese Prison Site Museum→ Baiyushan → the intersection of Haiying Street and Bingang Road→ World Peace Park
In general, Dalian's gameplay is still quite "special forces", but don't be afraid, the Northeast bathhouse gene in Dalian can just be awakened!

Occupying the advantage of a deep-water port, Dalian people generally can't look at seafood from other places, and they can't do without sea urchins, oysters, shrimp crawlers, and big crabs every day...... All kinds of shellfish seafood, Dalian is the king level, and the daily table is as rich as a seafood aircraft carrier!
Moreover, Dalian is probably one of the best cities in China to do Japanese food, and there is no pressure at all to break the wrist with the strength and go north, and the cost performance is even more overwhelming.
For example, Dalian Four Seasons is the most luxurious local area, right? A complete set of Omakase starts at 498 yuan, which is about the same as the restaurant level of 1000 per capita in Shanghai.
The fishing ban is coming from May to September, but the big cherries are coming. Once a year, this flavor can only be eaten in the place of origin, just in time.
There are also a variety of cost-effective explosion of Baba restaurant (Dalian people's name for the fly restaurant), the amount and cost performance are infinitely close to the Northeast cuisine, and it would be rude not to grow 345 pounds of meat to go home!

If you want to see the sea, you can choose Grand Hyatt and Yifang City Luxury Collection near Xinghai Square, both of which have a first-line sea view; near Donggang, you can live in Dalian Four Seasons, Dalian R&F Hilton, Conrad, and you can see the sunset in the room;
If you want to live in the city center, the keywords can be brought Zhongshan Road/Zhongshan Square, Shangri-La, JAL, Intercontinental, New World, etc., and a bunch of hotels to choose from.
