Recently, at the 2nd Western Automotive Industry and Talent Innovation and Development Seminar, STMicroelectronics and Trina Intelligent Control Technology (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. jointly unveiled the Open Lab at Chongqing Software University. This marks the official establishment of ST's first talent development program in the southwest region in the Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone.
According to reports, the "Open Lab" jointly established by STMicroelectronics and Trina Intelligent Control Technology (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. will build an open platform for technical exchanges, special project research, commissioned testing and verification, and engineering talent training with the concept of "cross-domain cooperation, ecological openness, and win-win cooperation".
In the future, it will work with Trina Intelligent Control to invest in teaching teachers and courses, promote the city to build a diversified co-education talent training system, empower the construction of a "super factory" for software talents, accelerate the training of a group of software and hardware technical talents and application engineers, and provide talent momentum for the city to build a trillion-level intelligent networked new energy vehicle industry cluster.
At present, Chongqing is in a critical period of building an internationally competitive "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system. Nan'an District and Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone are fully integrating into the city's industrial development strategy, comprehensively promoting the "Starry Sky" action plan, and accelerating the construction of a "3+2" industrial system.
The successful settlement of the joint open laboratory is not only to promote the deep integration of industrial innovation and skilled talent training in the city, but also an important measure for Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone to implement the national overall requirements of "leading industrial innovation with scientific and technological innovation, actively cultivating and developing new quality productivity", and help the city to build a "416" scientific and technological innovation layout, focus on key core technologies, and develop and expand the "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system. Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone will provide strong guarantee and high-quality services for the joint open laboratory with an open attitude and pragmatic style.
During the event, ST also presented 25 sets of newly developed dual-frequency GNSS evaluation development boards (EVBs) and accessories, helping the joint open lab to train more outstanding engineers in the field of automotive electronics and software.
