On April 24, it was reported that at yesterday's Polestar Brand Night event, Polestar released its new AI flagship mobile phone, Polestar Phone, according to Polestar Auto, Polestar Phone is designed for the driver's connected ecosystem.
In terms of exterior design, the Polestar Phone was designed by the Polestar global design team in Gothenburg, Sweden, and the Meizu team. Polestar's signature white colour palette is complemented by Swedish gold details such as seat belt colour and Brembo brake colour that symbolise safety and performance. The phone features a middle frame made of aerospace-grade NP66 aluminum, while the back cover is made of AG glass treated with a soft sand crystal flash process, and the Polestar logo on the back panel is carefully crafted with etching and silkscreen printing technology to show different textures.
On the system front, the Polestar Phone comes with a bespoke Polestar Phone OS, with the same font design as the Polestar car, categorized by app features. The AI function of the mobile phone is a highlight, supporting AI image search, map generation, knowledge query and other functions, and can quickly evoke the AI assistant through the "mBack" button.
In terms of connectivity, the Polestar Phone supports Polestar Link, which allows you to schedule OTA upgrades for your vehicle. The phone is also equipped with many innovative features, such as unbounded photo albums, address copy and circulation functions, full-screen projection of mobile phone applications, karaoke and global gesture operation in the car, intelligent voice control, etc., and will also add support for Apple Carplay in the future.
In terms of hardware, the Polestar Phone is roughly the same as the Meizu 21 Pro, with a 6.79-inch 2K+ resolution 120Hz LTPO display with 2160Hz PWM support. It is also equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 50-megapixel OV50H main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel triple telephoto lens. In addition, it has a built-in 5050mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. A single version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is available for 7,388 yuan.
