The 75th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China: National Unity
Jumei Dorjee (1979-2012), Tibetan, was born in Daofu County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and was the former deputy secretary of the Party Committee and head of Wari Township, Daofu County. Jumei Dorjee suffered from high blood pressure and could not overwork and work at high altitudes, but he still insisted on going to the grassroots level on the plateau for a long time to serve the masses. On May 18, 2012, after holding two village meetings and visiting more than 10 villagers, Jumei Dorjee returned to the dormitory late at night and died of a sudden cerebral hemorrhage in the early morning of the next day due to overwork, at the age of 33.
The comic book "The Most Beautiful Grassroots Cadre Jumei Dorjee" eulogizes the noble spirit of Jumei Dorjee serving the people wholeheartedly.
