Since April 21, as the water in the town recedes, Jiulong Town adheres to the supremacy of the people, and quickly deploys in accordance with the work concept of "water retreats and people enter the silt clearing", seizes the time, unites and leads the majority of party members and cadres, volunteers and the masses to carry out dredging and obstacle removal, damage assessment, etc., and the town has mobilized more than 400 people such as town and village cadres, party member volunteers, and council members to help the masses quickly restore normal production and life order.
Strengthen organizational leadership and establish a "front-line command platform"
On the morning of the 21st, the rain gradually weakened, and Jiulong Town quickly deployed to scientifically plan and implement the post-disaster reconstruction work in the next stage. The village-based team and relevant departments, together with the village-based team, council members, and party members and volunteers in the village, went deep into the homes and fields of the village to investigate the damage to agricultural production, rural housing, water conservancy facilities, and roads, and at the same time carried out full-coverage inspections on the three geological disaster points of Zhaibei Village, Tuanjie Village, and Baoxi Village, Shantang Reservoir, and water conservancy hub, and scientifically assessed the risks of geological disasters, house damage, and roadblock silt, forming a working mechanism with a clear division of labor and responsibility.
Carry out environmental dredging and obstacle removal to roll out the "red safety net"
Jiulong Town quickly organized the vast number of party members, cadres, volunteers, and the masses to wear red volunteer clothes, wear straw hats, and hold shovels, brooms and other tools to go to the disaster-stricken areas to clean up accumulated garbage, silt, sewage, etc., and carried out the dredging and sanitizing work of "no dead ends, no blind areas, and full coverage", and organized river patrol teams and emergency rescue teams to desilt the river in a timely manner to ensure the smooth flow of the river. At the same time, the village (neighborhood) committee and the team stationed in the village have made every effort to investigate and deal with the problem of traffic section collapse, and so far they have completed the disposal of collapsed trees, the collapsed road section of Changtan in Taiping Village, the collapsed road section from Tongyouping to Gaodai in Xinlong Village, 2 landslides on Wushi Village Road, and 6 landslides on 726 Township Road in Taiping Village.
Scientifically assess the damage and form a "convenient maintenance station"
Affected by this round of rainfall, a total of about 6,000 acres of farmland in Jiulong Town were flooded, Jiulong Town adheres to the "front-line work method", organizes relevant staff to sink to the front line, and assists villagers in applying for policy-based insurance nearby, so as to ensure that the flooded farmland can be compensated in a timely manner; At the same time, the Economic Development Office and other functional departments were organized to investigate the damage to the baptized houses. Through visits, WeChat groups and other means, supervise and guide the owners of construction sites and self-built houses to strengthen self-inspection of potential safety hazards, and strive to fully grasp the damage situation.
