The atmosphere was warm, everyone talked about ideas, put forward measures, Peng Hongyang, leader of the eighth squatting working group of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and Zhang Yongxiang, a member of the group, listened and recorded, and new work ideas continued to germinate in the brain. In March this year, the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions proposed to complete the task of developing 40,000 new truck driver members within the year, so that more new forms of employment, including truck drivers, could join the trade union organization. Doing a good job in the membership and service of truck drivers is not only the key work of the provincial general deployment, but also the main task of the squatting working group. On April 11, the eighth squatting working group of the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions rushed to the Guang'an Transportation Industry Trade Union Federation to complete the registration. At the meeting, Zhao Hongjun, deputy director of the Provincial General Organization Department, put forward a request to the squatting group to have a high position, focus on key points, and cohesion, fully mobilize the strength of trade unions at all levels, and build and activate the trade union organizations in the transportation industry. What is the situation of the work of the local trade unions? Where should the work start? For Peng Hongyang and Zhang Yongxiang, who participated in the squatting work for the first time, they were excited and a little confused. Therefore, before leaving, the squatting group "learned the truth" from the outstanding squatting cadres, and learned about the relevant policies from the relevant departments of the provincial general government, and made it clear that "research should be carried out first, and then the work ideas should be clarified according to the research results, and then the implementation plan should be formulated." In the past few days, the squatting group has successively discussed and investigated with the Guang'an Federation of Trade Unions, Guang'an Transportation Bureau, Guang'an Transportation Service Center, Guang'an Transportation Industry Association, Guang'an Transportation Industry Federation and Guang'an Port Trade Union Station, etc., to fully understand the establishment of freight companies and truck drivers in Guang'an City, and the work ideas have gradually become clear. Free parking spaces, comprehensive service halls, warm canteens, convenient supermarkets, infirmaries, leisure and entertainment rooms, shower rooms, staff libraries, standard dormitories...... On April 16th, the squatting group walked into the Guang'an Port Trade Union Station located in the Guang'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, and the comprehensive service system integrating the functions of "eating, living, learning, entertainment, shopping and running" created by the site made the squatting group shine. Take a closer look, the information display board of the trade union post station is prominently written, "As of today, more than 6,000 service workers and more than 1,000 staff members", which attracted Peng Hongyang's attention, he couldn't help but wonder "how to serve the number of people far greater than the number of members?" It turns out that truck drivers, crews and other groups are more mobile and not easy to contact, and the membership of this part of the group has always been difficult. In this regard, the trade union station innovates its work ideas, takes wholeheartedly serving the workers as the starting point and foothold of the trade union work, and attracts the workers to join the trade union organization with high-quality, intimate and warm-hearted services. From "what are the benefits of the workers after joining the trade union organization" to "let the workers experience the high-quality service before taking the initiative to join the union", this change of work idea has given great inspiration to the squatting group. "It makes us wonder what other resources can be coordinated, what activities can be done, what services can be provided, and ultimately what can be used to attract them to join the union. From theoretical preaching to skill competitions, to cultural and sports activities, student assistance, etc., the squatting group felt that the work ideas were opened up and they were more confident in the next work. "We will form a joint work force through party building with industrial construction, provincial, municipal and county three-level trade union linkage, and multi-department coordination, and promote the establishment of enterprise unions by means of 'one letter and two letters', focusing on key enterprises, and strive to add 20 new enterprises within 3 months, and more than 2,000 new truck driver members. After in-depth thinking, the squatting group preliminarily formulated the squatting work plan and listed the work task list, which made a good start for the squatting work.
