Recently, the Pu'an County Red Cross United Prefecture Central Blood Station carried out unpaid blood donation, hematopoietic stem cell knowledge publicity and volunteer recruitment activities in Pu'an County.
At the event site, the staff introduced in detail the basic knowledge of hematopoietic stem cell donation, the process of collecting blood samples, the initial match after storage, the high-score physical examination, and every link of the donation, and distributed publicity materials to ensure that every volunteer who is willing to join the Chinese bone marrow bank fills in the "Volunteer Donor Registration Form" after fully understanding the relevant knowledge of hematopoietic stem cell donation, and finally collects hematopoietic stem cell blood samples and joins the Chinese bone marrow bank.
In this activity, a total of 57 blood samples of hematopoietic stem cells were successfully collected.
