The largest rural library in China
Heshun Library has a long history, built in 1928, and is located in Tengchong Heshun Ancient Town, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. Covering an area of more than 5,000 square meters, the museum has a collection of more than 110,000 books, including more than 10,000 ancient books and rare books, and is a national key cultural relics protection unit. The plaque of "Heshun Library" with white characters on a blue background is from the handwriting of Zhang Li, the last person in the history of Heshun.
Tengchong's earliest library
Qiluo Library is located in Xiaqiluo Village, Tengchong City, and the gate of the library is a traditional wall-based building, which is simple and elegant. In 1919, in order to achieve the goal of "jointly revitalizing the mother hometown and building a new Qiluo", Qiluo overseas Chinese and village sages created the Qiluo book and newspaper reading room in Tengchong.
"The First Collection of Western Yunnan" Library
Tengchong City Library is located in Guanghua Road, Tiancheng Community, Tengchong City. At present, the library has collected 176,000 audio books, including integrated audiobooks of ancient and modern Chinese and foreign masterpieces, literary essences, art appreciation, historical stories, etc., which are divided into five major libraries: social science branch, English branch, children's branch, blind branch library, and music branch.
