On April 22, Jiange County held the 2024 County Party Committee Political and Legal Work Conference. The meeting was presided over by Gan Xingli, member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and secretary of the political and legal committee, and Yang Zubin, secretary of the county party committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting pointed out that in the past year, the county's political and legal system has conscientiously implemented the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee, the provincial party committee and the municipal party committee and the work requirements of the county party committee, focusing on the overall situation of the center, actively taking action, and creating a safe and stable social environment and a fair and just legal space for the county's economic and social development. The main achievements have been achieved in six aspects: first, the party's absolute leadership over political and legal work has been continuously strengthened; second, it has been resolute and effective in maintaining national political security and social stability; third, it has consolidated and developed the construction of a higher level of peace and security; fourth, it has achieved remarkable results in escorting high-quality economic and social development; fifth, the reform in the field of law enforcement and justice has been continuously promoted in depth; and sixth, the construction of high-quality political and legal teams has been steadily improved.
The meeting emphasized that the county's political and legal system should unify its thinking, be loyal to the party, and deeply grasp the new requirements of political and legal work in the new era. This year is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it is a key year to achieve the goals and tasks of the "14th Five-Year Plan".
The meeting demanded that in 2024, we should focus on six aspects of work: first, we must achieve new results in strengthening political construction, second, we must make new achievements in safeguarding national political security, third, we must make new breakthroughs in strengthening the construction of peace and the rule of law, fourth, we must achieve a new image in team building, fifth, we must achieve new results in promoting fairness and justice and deepening the reform in the political and legal fields, and sixth, we must achieve a complete victory in the "big county of letters and visits". At the same time, the county's political and legal system is required to conscientiously implement the spirit of the important instructions of the central and provincial party committees, municipal party committees and county party committees on political and legal work, adhere to the party's absolute leadership over political and legal work, adhere to the people-centered development idea, focus on the "1233" strategy of governing and rejuvenating the county, consciously put political and legal work in the overall situation of the county to plan, ensure that political and legal work is always "the same goal, the same voice, and the same pace" with the county party committee, and promote the high-quality economic and social development of the county with the modernization of political and legal work.
All members of the political and legal committee of the county party committee, secretaries of the township party committees and political and legal committees, the main persons in charge of the member units of the leading group for the construction of Ping An Jiange, the political and legal committee of the county party committee, the group work bureau of the county party committee, and the members and middle-level cadres of the county-level political and legal units, the person in charge of the "two courts and one court", and the main persons in charge of schools, hospitals and state-owned enterprises directly under the county attended the meeting.
