In accordance with the work deployment of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government to comprehensively promote the "15-minute Community Life Circle" action and the work requirements of the "2024 Shanghai "15-minute Community Life Circle" Action Plan, the "People's City Classroom" builds a training and exchange platform to promote exchanges and demonstrate the effectiveness of the "15-minute Community Life Circle" action at the city, district and street levels, and attracts expert lecturers, community planners, architectural landscape architects, social workers, community residents and other parties to participate in the construction of the people's city.
From March to April 2024, Baoshan District will continue to carry out the "People's City Classroom" to publicize the concept of "15-minute Community Life Circle" in various forms and the typical cases and action results in the process of promoting actions, creating a good atmosphere of extensive support from all walks of life and active participation of community residents, and helping the construction of a people's city.
Door-to-door preaching "zero distance"
On March 19th, the lecturer walked into the platinum Huafu community of Dachang Town, carried out the "People's City Classroom" activity in the form of door-to-door preaching, actively publicized the construction of the "15-minute community life circle" in Baoshan District, and "asked the needs meter" to the resident representatives on the spot, and understood the current priority needs of the people and the future development gap of the community in a "face-to-face" way.

On March 21, the lecturer went to Luodian Town to publicize the concept and effectiveness of the construction of the "15-minute community life circle" in Baoshan District to the cadres of the neighborhood committee, and distributed the "15-minute community life circle" leaflet, and publicized it to the residents of the community through the cadres of the neighborhood committee, so as to expand the awareness and coverage of the "15-minute community life circle".

On April 16, special training was carried out in the "15-minute community life circle" citizen sharing space of Baoshan District Community Governance College, and through face-to-face round-table exchanges, more lecturers were cultivated to join the propaganda group, expand the work team of "asking citizens about their needs", improve publicity efficiency, expand the awareness and participation of citizens in the "15-minute community life circle", and make the "15-minute community life circle" a common vision and common action for Baoshan residents to create a better life.
Through a number of special lectures and trainings carried out by the "People's City Classroom" for community residents, cadres of neighborhood committees, street and town staff, and members of the propaganda team, while publicizing the construction concept and connotation of the "15-minute community life circle" in Baoshan District, the public participation and coverage of the "15-minute community life circle" have been strengthened, and a new path has been explored for promoting whole-process people's democracy and exploring the establishment of a more extensive, in-depth and normalized participation mechanism for residents and social forces.
