On April 19, at the 135th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), the "new three" of foreign trade represented by electric manned vehicles, lithium-ion batteries and solar cells continued to be favored by overseas buyers, and the transaction was hot. The strong demand in the international market has driven the strong export of the "new three" in foreign trade, and also driven the export of a large number of upstream and downstream products.

01

The complete supply chain industrial chain and the super-large-scale market have contributed to it

The advantages of the mainland's complete supply chain industrial chain have laid a solid foundation for the "new three things". At the same time, a complete supply chain industrial chain can effectively promote the optimal allocation of resources, improve the core competitiveness of enterprises, and promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.

Wang Qing, deputy director of the Institute of Market Economy of the Development Research Center of the State Council, said in an interview with a reporter from the China Economic Times that the mainland's manufacturing industry has a complete global supply chain system, and the current "new three" leading exports is also the result of long-term innovation and development, mutual cooperation and mutual promotion with supply chain enterprises. In each link, the integration of cost and efficiency advantages of manufacturing enterprises makes the "new three" very competitive in the world.

The mainland is the only country in the world that has all the industrial categories in the United Nations Industrial Classification, and the scale of manufacturing industry has ranked first in the world for 13 consecutive years, the added value accounts for nearly 30% of the world's total, and the output of more than 220 industrial products ranks first in the world...... The mainland's real economy has a solid chassis and a complete system.

"The complete industrial chain enables the mainland to have a complete chain from raw material procurement to manufacturing, sales and after-sales service. The complete supply chain enables efficient coordination and efficiency in logistics, distribution and other links, and can meet the needs of the global market. Strong technological innovation capabilities can meet consumer demand for high-quality products. The huge market demand provides a solid foundation for industrial development. Liu Chunsheng, an associate professor at the Central University of Finance and Economics, said in an interview with a reporter from the China Economic Times.

In Wang Qing's view, the advantages of the mainland's super-large-scale market have also created a huge space for the rapid development of the "new three". The super-large-scale market provides enough space for the application of new technologies and the promotion of new products, forming economies of scale in both product and innovation. Economies of scale are conducive to the popularization of technology and dilution of costs in the innovation and development of multiple competing enterprises, and promote the rapid commercialization and maturity of new technologies, new products and new models.

Innovation is the inexhaustible driving force for industrial development, in the face of fierce market competition, where is the main innovation point of the "new three" in the future?

Wang Ying, executive vice president and researcher of the National Institute of Opening up at the University of International Business and Economics, said in an interview with a reporter from the China Economic Times that in the future, the "new three" innovation points are mainly reflected in four aspects: technology application, product optimization, market expansion and brand building.

Specifically, first of all, the "new three" all adopt the latest technologies, and the application of these technologies makes the products more energy efficient, more stable performance, more in line with environmental protection requirements, and reduces the adverse impact on the environment. Secondly, the "new three" are continuously optimized in the product design and manufacturing process to further improve the performance and reliability of the product, so as to meet the needs of different customers. Thirdly, by constantly opening up new sales markets, the market share of products has been increased. Finally, the "new three" products have clarified the brand positioning, that is, innovative, environmentally friendly and efficient high-tech products. This brand positioning not only accurately conveys insight into future technology trends, but also successfully attracts consumers who are interested in high-tech products, and successfully establishes a professional and reliable brand image through high-quality products and excellent services.

In Liu Chunsheng's view, in order to fully release the growth potential of the "new three", in the future, on the one hand, it is necessary to strengthen R&D investment and improve the technical content and added value of products. At the same time, it is necessary to actively participate in global competition, constantly expand the international market, and increase market share. On the other hand, it is necessary to optimize the industrial layout and strengthen the coordinated development of all links in the industrial chain. At the same time, it is necessary to increase policy support and encourage enterprises to innovate and develop.

The slowdown in the development of electric vehicles in Europe and the United States has a relatively limited impact on the mainland

Among the "new three", the performance of electric vehicles is particularly bright. In recent years, with the acceleration of domestic new energy vehicles to "go overseas", their sales have continued to rise, occupying a place in the global market.

Recently, many countries in Europe and the United States have announced the postponement of the process of vehicle electrification.

In Wang Ying's view, electric vehicles are a clear future trend in the automotive industry, and this direction will not be shaken by European and American car companies stepping on the brakes and domestic price wars. Moreover, the goals of European and American governments and car companies to promote the development of new energy vehicles have not changed, and the policy of taking electric vehicles as the main development direction has not changed, but the pace of policy implementation has been adjusted.

In terms of coping strategies, Wang Ying suggested the following four aspects. First, we must continue to improve our independent innovation capabilities, develop core technologies with independent intellectual property rights, and reduce our dependence on external technologies. Second, it is necessary to expand the domestic demand market and increase market share through policy guidance and market promotion. Third, we should deepen international cooperation, find new partners, share resources and achieve common development. Fourth, we must improve product quality and service level, improve consumer satisfaction, and enhance brand influence.

In Wang Qing's view, at present, the mainland new energy vehicle market size accounts for sixty percent of the world, Europe and the United States to slow down the development of electric vehicles on the mainland has a relatively limited impact, electrification and intelligent networking will still be the future development trend of the global automotive industry, the mainland should have confidence in the development.

"Although the demand for China's new energy vehicles in the European and American markets may decrease, the mainland needs to maintain its determination, seize the opportunity of the development window period of electric vehicles, strengthen the technical reserves of the next generation of vehicles and batteries, continue to rely on the advantages of the super-large-scale market to develop new energy vehicles, and form an influence on the development of global automotive technology and market. At the same time, the mainland also needs to actively promote its global layout, focus on strengthening cooperation with Europe, and actively expand emerging markets such as the Belt and Road countries, Southeast Asia, and Central and South America. Wang Qing said.
