On April 23, the CPPCC carried out the activity of "CPPCC members connect with the people's hearts and warm people's hearts with free clinic services" in Heta Community, a street in the urban area, to further broaden the channels for CPPCC members to perform their duties, give full play to the role of CPPCC members in contacting the masses, reflecting public opinions, and making suggestions, and effectively promote the extension of CPPCC work to the grassroots level.
During the event, CPPCC members from the Municipal People's Hospital brought health knowledge lectures on hypertension, diabetes prevention, and chronic disease management to the residents, and carried out first-aid knowledge training, and also carried out a free clinic in the square of Minsheng Jiayuan Community.
Before the free clinic, the CPPCC actively connected with the Zhenheta community, and took the initiative to build a service platform and gather high-quality resources from multiple parties by means of "docking grassroots needs, precise design projects, selecting medical experts, and online publicity and guidance". During the free clinic activities, medical experts from the Municipal People's Hospital provided a number of loving diagnosis and treatment services such as respiratory, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, blood pressure and blood sugar for community residents. The doctors inquired about the condition in detail, patiently answered the residents' questions, and put forward reasonable and personalized treatment suggestions and health guidance. At the same time, according to the physical condition of the patients with chronic diseases among the community residents, they are advised to eat scientifically, exercise reasonably, pay attention to the combination of work and rest, standardize the use of medicines, and provide professional guidance on the prevention and treatment of common and frequent diseases in spring and summer, so that the residents of Zhenheta community can enjoy face-to-face, professional and warm medical services at their doorstep.
On the same day, the CPPCC CPC Sector Studio also carried out activities for members to contact the grassroots masses, solicited information on social conditions and public opinions, and conducted exchanges and discussions on the problems existing in community governance, and studied the next solutions.
