In order to consolidate the foundation of campus safety, improve the level of intrinsic safety, and further promote the three-year action of tackling the root cause of safety production in the demonstration area, on April 21, the Emergency Management Bureau of Yangling Demonstration Zone and Yangling Vocational and Technical College held a training meeting on "Escorting Safety and Growth, Safety Education into Colleges and Universities".
At the meeting, Gong Qian, an emergency management expert in Shandong Province and vice chairman of the Shandong Provincial Occupational Mental Health Committee, gave a keynote report on "Mental Health Safety Management in the Higher Education System", elaborating on the negative impact of interfering emotions on mental health, putting forward some effective emotion management strategies, pointing out that a sense of security is the cornerstone of individual mental health, and instructing teachers to improve their sense of security through self-cultivation and group empowerment.
The meeting pointed out that this year is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a key year to achieve the goals and tasks of the "14th Five-Year Plan", and the first year of the three-year action to tackle the root causes. In accordance with the three-year action plan for tackling the root causes of the province and the demonstration zone, all levels and departments should further strengthen the concept of overall development and safety, the level of intrinsic safety has been greatly improved, and the momentum of major production safety accidents has been effectively curbed, and the education system should further strengthen the concept of school safety, enhance the willingness and ability to reduce major safety risks and eliminate hidden dangers of major accidents, enhance the safety awareness of teachers and students and the ability to avoid danger and escape, and ensure that the school safety situation remains continuous and stable.
The meeting demanded that it is necessary to establish "three consciousnesses", that is, the consciousness that grasping safety is to keep the cornerstone of development, the awareness that the alarm bell rings for a long time, the consciousness of always grasping unremittingly, and the awareness of all employees grasping safety, and making every effort to build a strong ideological defense line for safety and stability; it is necessary to establish "four mechanisms", focusing on building a coordinated leadership mechanism, a hierarchical responsibility mechanism, and a timely and smooth information reporting mechanism, and promoting and perfecting a long-term and effective mechanism for security and stability; and it is necessary to achieve "seven starts", that is, from strengthening political security, safety education, campus management, student management, safety investigation, Seven key areas, such as technical and physical defense construction and emergency drills, should be used to pay close attention to safety education and management.
In the future, the Emergency Bureau of the Demonstration Zone will continue to carry out safety education and training activities in various forms and rich content with colleges and universities in the demonstration area, further promote campus safety management, and escort the healthy growth of students.
