On April 19th and 20th, 2024, the "Pingshan County Ninth Grade Mathematics Teaching and Research and Curriculum Standard Training Activity" and the "Sichuan Province Zhu Dazhong Tianfu Famous Teacher Studio No. 2 Workstation Sending Teaching to the Countryside" and "Pingshan County Zheng Qingrong Junior High School Mathematics Famous Teacher Studio Intensive Training Activity" were held in Xin'an Town Nine-year Consistent School, with a total of about 110 people participating in this activity.
On the morning of April 19th, I listened to the demonstration class of Mr. Li Ming and Mr. Huang Fang respectively, and the first class was taught by Mr. Li Ming on "Comprehensive Application of Primary Function and Inverse Proportional Function". The whole class is closely related to the high school entrance examination points and hot spots, grasps the knowledge connection and transfer, the classroom atmosphere is active, the teacher pays attention to every student, the students show solid basic skills, and the students evaluate each other well. The second class was taught by Ms. Huang Fang, "Clever Auxiliary Line Solves the Problem of Straight Line Tangent to the Garden". The whole class closely followed the hot spots and difficulties of the proposition of the high school entrance examination, and the students in the classroom encouraged and discussed, which demonstrated the students' ability to think and change in response to the examination, interacted with the students' true feelings, and mobilized the enthusiasm of the students.
On the afternoon of April 19th, Chen Yong, a mathematics teacher and researcher of Yibin Institute of Educational Sciences, made a summary comment on the above two classes, and gave a lecture entitled "Strategizing, Winning the Details", sharing and exchanging views from the challenges faced by the progress of the times, innovative teaching review strategies, and question type research, emphasizing that middle school students must strengthen the cultivation of mathematical thinking, starting from the details, attaching importance to review strategies, paying attention to basic knowledge, and attaching importance to training, especially in the study of question types, closely following the course standards and connecting life. Immediately afterwards, Zheng Guomin, a member of the 2nd workstation of Zhu Dazhong's Tianfu Famous Teacher Studio, brought a lecture on "Mathematical Problem Solving Strategies and Thinking", through the thinking of "doing one problem, knowing one class, and passing through one piece", from the four aspects of "one question is changeable, one question has multiple solutions, one question is more thinking, and one explanation is one", it answers the difficulties and pain points in the usual teaching process for us.
On the morning of April 20th, Zheng Qingrong, the leader of Pingshan County Junior High School Mathematics Famous Teacher's Studio, brought a lecture on "Relying on Teaching and Research to Promote Professional Growth". In terms of teaching and research suggestions, in view of the unclear goals, ineffective measures, insufficient development momentum, and inobvious results in the teaching and scientific research of the nine-year consistent school in Xin'an Town, Pingshan County, Mr. Zheng explained the importance of teaching and scientific research, especially the positioning of teachers' personal development and school development and what to do.
Through this activity, the requirements of mathematics teaching and scientific research in Pingshan Junior High School were strengthened, inter-school exchanges and learning were promoted, and learning from each other's strengths and weaknesses.
