Based on the advantages of local industrial development, Wanshou Town has laid out and created a "Gongfu Workshop", borrowed the power of village sages, introduced textile, knitting and other formats, systematically sorted out and improved traditional industries, and continued to increase the income of women, the elderly, and groups with low education in the village and surrounding towns.
Starting from 2023, Quxian County will look for highly adaptable enterprises throughout the county, especially labor-intensive enterprises, invite them to participate in the Gongfu Workshop project, and move part of the production line into remote villages through shareholding dividends, production and marketing cooperation, etc., and enterprises will send raw materials, technology, and finished products, and pair villages with manpower, venues, and dividends, so as to achieve a win-win situation among villagers, village collectives, and enterprises.
Pu Juan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wanshou Town, Quxian County: At present, our town has introduced five Gongfu workshops, including Zhenxin Garment Co., Ltd., Yonghua Garment Factory, and Xinzhiyi Luggage and Leather Goods Factory, to achieve an annual increase of more than 30 yuan in the village collective economy, and solve the problem of more than 200 people in the village communities and surrounding towns and villages in Wanshou Town, and more than 200 people are employed in the vicinity, and the annual per capita income of farmers is more than 10,000 yuan.
Since last year, Qu County has made use of idle land and houses in townships and towns to promote the construction of "Gongfu Workshop" in the whole region, and helped farmers stabilize employment and increase income through the development of agricultural product processing, handicraft and other businesses. Qu County has also introduced the "Gongfu Workshop" reward and subsidy method to encourage market operators, farmers, enterprises and village communities to participate in the construction of the "Gongfu Workshop", so as to realize the delivery of projects to villages, jobs to households, skills to people, and policies to homes. Up to now, 88 workshops of various types have been built in the county, with an annual output value of 146 million yuan and more than 4,000 employees, forming a virtuous circle of increasing the efficiency of enterprises, increasing farmers' income, and increasing collective wealth, helping rural revitalization.
