Magic: The Lakers lost, it was sad, James tried his best. Ham doesn't challenge, he has to change coaches

Magic's heartbroken reaction to the Lakers' second loss to the Nuggets, with the Lakers seemingly resistant to the Nuggets.

In the first round of G2, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a ten-game losing streak in the current first-round playoff series against the defending NBA champion Nuggets, and fell behind 0-2 in the series by losing a 20-point lead in the second half.

Eventually, they were defeated by Jamal Murray's jumper as the final ringing sounded.

The Lakers played as well as they could in the first two and a half quarters of this game, with the team seeing a classic performance from Anthony Davis and LeBron James reminiscent of past glories in parts of the first and fourth quarters, and it looked like the game should be a tie series between the two sides back in Los Angeles.

However, James missed a loose three-pointer with less than twenty seconds left in the game, which would have given the Lakers the lead, while Murray easily ran to the court on the other end of the bench and hit a very difficult jumper under Davis' defense.

To be honest, the Lakers' desperate attempt to build the lead was expected, but the shutout was unexpected.

One of those who was so frustrated by the defeat that it took a full 12 hours to express his emotions was the team's legendary Magic Johnson, who voiced his thoughts on the social media platform X on Tuesday afternoon local time.

"I was so depressed last night that I couldn't even tweet... Jamal Murray hit an incredible shot and the Nuggets fought back brilliantly," Magic Johnson wrote.

I really didn't expect that the Magic would be so sad, and I knew that the Lakers would be a little crazier and win G2, so that the elderly Magic could be in a better mood.

The Magic then tweeted what he thought was wrong with the Lakers.

"The Lakers have no one to blame. They did everything they were supposed to do, but they lost! Anthony Davis and LeBron James both did their share and they got Russell's scoring help, but they still lost. The Hall of Famer wrote.

One thing to say, James has so much physical fitness, it can't be better, then the problem is Hamm. If nothing else, Hamm doesn't have to challenge him, so keep it for the New Year, or keep it for fishing?

The inevitable collapse, despite the Lakers' 20-point lead, Los Angeles' lead never felt completely safe in G2's Lakers vs. Nuggets.

Watching the Lakers play in the second half was like watching a structure on the verge of collapse slowly begin to bend, and an avalanche against the Nuggets was inevitable.

Despite James and Davis' stellar stats for the second straight game, the Lakers still haven't been productive from Austin Reaves or Hachimura, two players who were key players in the playoffs last season.

On the positive side, if anything, D'Angelo Russell has far surpassed his previous performances against the Nuggets, but it's still not enough to break through the mess.

Even more frustrating for the Lakers was their 43 percent three-point shooting compared to the Nuggets' 23 percent, but they still lost the game.

With Game 3 in Los Angeles just around the corner, it remains to be seen what kind of mindset the Lakers will play after suffering such a heavy loss.

The Lakers can only win by changing the head coach, otherwise let Ham go on sick leave now, let the assistant coach play, in fact, commanded by LeBron James, I believe that they will definitely be able to beat the Nuggets.
