Every night at 10 o'clock, follow me to learn more about the story of the design institute!

JSTC, soaring!

Edit|It's still called XX

This week, there is a relatively hot news in the capital market, that is, the release of the nine articles of the new country.

As a result, on Monday and Tuesday (and today is barely counted), companies with small market capitalizations went all the way down, comparable to a stock market crash.

At a time when the stock prices of most companies are falling, there is a listed design institute that has risen sharply against the market, up more than 50% this week!

It is the most beautiful cub in the listed design institute - JSTC.

Note: The rise of Jiangsu Jiaoke also drove the two FW of Anhui ** Institute and Henan ** Institute to follow suit.

Today, let's talk about why JSTC, as a traditional transportation design institute, can be so hot in the capital market.

And what is the significance of the design institute for everyone to change careers (or design institute transformation).

The following text:

1. Background

JSTC's predecessor was Jiangsu Transportation Research Institute, which was established in 1978.

In 2002, JSTC became the first provincial scientific research and design institute in the transportation industry to be restructured from a public institution to an employee-owned private enterprise.

On January 10, 2012, JSTC made its initial public offering of A-shares and was officially listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Although JSTC is a private enterprise in nature, its largest shareholder is Guangdong State-owned Assets.

Generally speaking, the stock price reaction in the secondary market will be slightly ahead of the company's operation, after all, there are always a few people who can "predict" the development of a company in advance.

Therefore, the sharp rise in the stock price can reflect the company's future operating situation will improve significantly to a certain extent.

This week, JSTC has risen so rapidly, which is inseparable from the business sector that has already been laid out - general aviation.

This also provides a new idea for the transformation of the majority of transportation design institutes, engaging in low-altitude economy!

2. Design Institute and General Aviation

Briefly introduce the following two terms.

1. General Aviation:

The general aviation industry is a strategic emerging industrial system with general aviation flight activities as the core, covering the whole industrial chain of general aviation aircraft R&D and manufacturing, market operation, comprehensive support and extended services, with the characteristics of long industrial chain, wide service field and strong driving role.

To put it simply: general aviation is all other parts of civil aviation after commercial aviation.

2. Low-altitude economy:

The low-altitude economy is a comprehensive economic form that is driven by various low-altitude flight activities of various manned and unmanned aerial vehicles and radiated to drive the integrated development of related fields.

At present, the main products in the low-altitude field are eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft), unmanned aerial vehicles (consumer grade, industrial grade), helicopters, traditional fixed-wing aircraft, etc.

Simple understanding: the new economic format created by the use of general aviation aircraft, the main ones that are more popular in the big A are drone shows and airspace digital construction.

How should the above content be related to the business of the design institute?

Here's what JSTC said:

In recent years, the company has undertaken more than 60 major aviation consulting projects at the national, ministerial and provincial levels, such as the "General Aviation Development Key and Countermeasure Research Project" of the Comprehensive Planning Department of the Ministry of Transport, the "Jiangsu Province Low-altitude Visual Route Network Layout Planning and Operation Rules Preparation Research Project" of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation, the "Jiangsu Province Civil Aviation Development Blue Book (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)", "Jiangsu Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Airport Alliance Route Coordination Development Policy Research Project", Jiangsu Province International Air Cargo Development Policy and Air Logistics Safeguard Measures Research Project", Jiangsu Provincial Committee Military-Civilian Integration Development Committee Office of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China "Jiangsu Province General Airport Civil-Military Integration Layout Planning Research Project", Suzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau "Suzhou Low-altitude Economy High-quality Development Implementation Plan (2024~2026)", "Suzhou General Airport Development Strategy Research", Wuxi Transportation Bureau "Wuxi General Aviation Development Planning Research", etc.

Although the design institute (JSTC) does not build drones, nor does it engage in production line construction, let alone drone performances, the policy preparation of low-altitude economy and aircraft route planning are all here.

This is not only highly related to the digital construction of airspace, but also can directly participate in the top-level design of a province's low-altitude economy.

How much profit can be generated in the future is not to be said for the time being, but it is a scarce target that is strongly related to the concept of big A low-altitude economy.

It's no wonder that the stock price has skyrocketed.

3. Is general aviation (low-altitude economy) reliable?

My personal opinion is that it has passed the 0-1 stage and entered a period of rapid development, with a huge increment, and a large number of people can eat dividends!

However, it is doubtful whether it can develop into a new energy industry in the future and drive a wave of engineering construction.

Here's why:

1. At the national level

At the very important Central Economic Work Conference at the end of last year, it was mentioned that:

"We will build a number of strategic emerging industries such as biomanufacturing, commercial aerospace, and low-altitude economy, open up new tracks for future industries such as quantum and life sciences, widely apply digital intelligence technology and green technology, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. ”

This year, the low-altitude economy has appeared more and more frequently in the government's external caliber.

Corresponding to this, almost all large-scale events will use drones, and drone shows have become the most mature form of low-altitude economy.

Promoted by the state, there is a large demand gap for large-scale activities, relevant talents are scarce, and the performance forms are rich and have their own traffic.

Whether from the policy or the market, the business logic of the low-altitude economy has run through.

2. At the level of the design institute

Earlier this year, I consulted a Ph.D. on career choice.

From the consulting information he gave me, I also learned that an extremely well-known head design institute in the industry is recruiting talents in the field of general aviation.

As a recent Ph.D., he is ready to join the company.

At that time, the concept of "low-altitude economy" proposed by the Central Economic Work Conference was not so popular.

As a central enterprise design institute, it smelled the opportunity in advance and seized the opportunity, and the leadership was very courageous.

Although I had no idea about the "low-altitude economy" at that time, I happened to audit a company in the field of general aviation some time ago.

Knowing that there is a big gap in this field in China, Amway made a mistake to recruit this doctor into the hospital.

3. Grapevine

This year, construction enterprises have upgraded their qualifications, the importance of registration certificates has declined, and the performance requirements of personnel have increased a lot.

Some readers who have handled the qualification upgrade have come to me to seek cooperation, and I also happen to understand the current market.

Among them, the most surprising thing is that the first-class civil aviation constructor with performance has an astonishing 1 million anchorage fees.

With such a high price, I still can't find a few builders who meet the requirements.

I don't know if this has much to do with general aviation and the low-altitude economy, so if you think of it, you will mention it, and everyone will judge for yourself.

Based on the above three reasons:

My judgment is that general aviation must be an opportunity in recent years, and the design institute has transformed and has enough courage to turn to general aviation.

JSTC has set an example, it's hard to say whether you can make money or not, but if you have the opportunity to be a pig on the tuyere, why not?

At present, the field of general aviation is a blue ocean, with little competition, and the cake is big enough, and I believe that a number of awesome companies will emerge.

However, the cake that the design institute can get in it may not be big.

My knowledge is limited, and it's hard to think of anything else that the design institute can do other than compile reports and plan routes.

Above, what do you think, welcome to leave a message to discuss!

If you think the article is good, you can like it at the end of the article and forward it easily, so that more people can see it, thank you!

Finally, to say a little more, the article explains that the layout of the low-altitude economy is very forward-looking, and it does not mean that the company is a treasure design institute, which has not received relevant revelations.

And because the stock price of JSTC has risen, the stock price of a number of transportation listed design institutes has risen with it, which also does not mean that those companies are reliable.

For example, what is Anhui ** Institute, Henan ** Institute, ZS shares or something.
