In fact, the source of poetry can also be like this: the language runs the folk style, the truth is good, and the beauty is beautiful, the mountains and seas are swirling, and the red dust is performed; the sporadic can be compared to the blazing sun, and the words are flawless; the pearls and shields are warm, and the poetry is eloquent and benevolent.
Last Friday, Qingdao Laoshan Financial District Experimental Primary School welcomed a blockbuster writer, the poet Li Quan. Lead children into poetry, wander in the beautiful rhythm of poetry, and learn to record life with poetry.
Mr. Li Quan, born in Yueyang, Hunan Province in 1971, now lives in Qingdao, Shandong, is the fourth signed writer of Qingdao Federation of Literary and Art Circles, vice chairman of Qingdao Literary and Art Critics Association, member of the Poetry Creation Committee of Qingdao Writers Association, and vice chairman of Laoshan Writers Association.
Mr. Li has been engaged in poetry creation for 30 years, and his works have been scattered in "Poetry Magazine", "Yangtze River Poetry Magazine", "Green Wind", "Selected Poems", "Star Poetry Magazine", "Poetry Exploration", "Shandong Literature", "Caotang", etc., and has been selected into dozens of various anthologies and won various poetry awards for many times. In December 2023, Changjiang Literature and Art Publishing House published a poetry collection "A Corner of the Sea", and in March 2024, it won the "Top Ten Chinese Poetry Collections of 2023" by the Chinese Contemporary New Poetry Research Center of Beijing Normal University.
With the title of "Picking Up Poetic Shells in Ordinary Life", Mr. Li first took the classic work "Gift to Wang Lun" by the poet immortal Li Bai as an example, and carefully read the scene of Li Bai and Wang Lun parting to each other thousands of years ago by the Peach Blossom Pond. At that time, there was beautiful scenery, cheerful singing and dancing, and surging friendship. Teacher Li's humorous language makes the class lively. Principal Wang also interpreted these two works, hoping that students would observe, discover, and read life with their hearts, create boldly, and find traces of poetry in firewood, rice, oil and salt, piano, chess, calligraphy, painting, tea and hops.
