Exhibition of public welfare theme photo contests
The exhibition was held from April 18th to April 28th at the Dongcheng District Cultural Center Fashion Art Museum. At the beginning of the year, the Propaganda Department of the Dongcheng District Committee of the Communist Party of China and Visual China jointly launched the "Reading in Dongcheng and the Beauty of Reading" public welfare theme photo contest, focusing on the three tracks of "The Most Beautiful Bookstore", "Encounter with Books" and "Reading Life", soliciting outstanding photographic works from the whole society, freezing the reading time with the lens and recording the scholarly life with photos.
This exhibition selects 80 outstanding works from the nearly 4,000 works received by the event for exhibition, hoping to arouse more people's love for reading through these photographic works, make reading a part of life, and let books become a mentor and friend in our spiritual world, discover the charm of bookstores, feel the warmth of books, and experience the power of knowledge.
The 3rd Beijing Guardian International Art Book Fair
From April 20th to April 28th, the 3rd Beijing Guardian International Art Book Fair was held at Beijing Guardian Art Center. The art collection area brings together many rare art books, the original book area displays high-quality publications from all over the world, and the boutique used book area makes people feel the weight of history and cultural precipitation.
The Book Fair brings together 100 exhibitors and more than 15,000 kinds of books. The two special exhibitions invite readers to immerse themselves in the aesthetics of book binding from the Republic of China to modern times.
