From April 20th to 21st, the comprehensive hall of Dingyuan County Sports Center was very lively. The 2024 "Let's Run, Youth" children's and youth-themed fitness activities and the 2nd Dingyuan County U Series Primary School Basketball League hosted by the Dingyuan County Education and Sports Bureau were held here. The competition was divided into three groups: U8, U10 and U12, and during the two-day competition, more than 150 young players from 8 schools in the prefecture actively participated in the competition.
In the game, the young players fought tenaciously, fought bravely, and showed their style and level. They unite and cooperate on the court, cooperate tacitly, compete fiercely, defend and counterattack, run with the ball, attack the basket and other actions in one go, not only show excellent physical fitness and superb basketball skills, give full play to the team skills and tactics application level, fully demonstrate the charm and passion of basketball. Some students fell down in the game and got up immediately, cheered after victory, wiped away tears and started all over again when they lost. After more than 30 fierce competitions in 2 days, the teams of Dingyuan County Experimental Primary School, Chengbei Primary School, and Jianshe Primary School stood out in the U8, U10, U12 and other groups, achieved good results, and won wide praise.
This competition not only tempered the physical and mental quality of the students, enhanced the children's sense of teamwork, but also provided an opportunity for primary school basketball enthusiasts in Dingyuan County to show themselves and learn from each other, and created an excellent environment for the county's primary and secondary schools to implement the "five educations simultaneously", promote the integration of education and sports, and display the results of "double reduction". In the later stage, this year's Dingyuan County "Run, Youth" theme activities such as track and field, football, table tennis and other events will be launched one after another, and the flower of campus sports will continue to bloom.
