It is reported that the Guiyang-Beihai Expressway Guiyang to Pingtang (Guiguijie) project starts from Wudang Yangchang Town, Guiyang City, and ends near Yunyangguan in Guiyangjie, with a total length of about 174 kilometers and a design speed of 100 km/h, with 5 hub interchanges, 13 landing interchanges, and 66 kilometers of interconnecting lines. There are 119 bridges, including 13 extra-large bridges and 96 large bridges. There are 36 tunnels, including 1 extra-long tunnel, with a length of about 4 kilometers. Bridges and tunnels account for 50.7% of the total length of the route.

Guiping Expressway is the core section of the Guiyang-Beihai Expressway in the National Highway Network Plan, with a total length of about 174 kilometers, designed as a two-way six-lane highway with a speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The route starts from Yangchang, Wudang District, Guiyang City, passes through Guiding, Longli, Pingtang, and ends at Yunyang Pass, the boundary of Guizhou and Guizhou Province, and connects to the Tian'e-Beihai Expressway under construction.
