The Jade Dragon International Open Horse Racing & China Horse Owners Alliance Series Regular Season Race is the only horse racing event in China that is in line with international standards, spanning two places, running throughout the year, with the highest prize money and professional horse racing. According to the organizers, the 2024 Yulong International Horse Racing Open & China Horse Owners Alliance Series regular season race will be held from May 11 to September 28 at the Yulong International Racecourse in Youyu County, Shanxi Province, with a total of 20 race days throughout the year, with each Saturday as the race day (including August 31 as the rest day), with an average of 9 races per race day, a total of 192 races, and a total prize of 36.65 million yuan, which is the highest prize money ever for horse racing in the mainland.

The event will be divided into classes according to the specific registered horses, and the prize money for the minimum shift event shall not be less than 100,000 yuan/game. The races are divided into short, medium and long distances to suit the needs of different horses. This year is the third year of the China Horse Owners Federation's three-year domestic horse 60 million yuan bonus plan, and its domestic horse races and prize money continue to be upgraded, with a total prize fund of up to 30 million yuan. Among them, the two-year-old domestic horse race has a total prize fund of 15.3 million yuan, the three-year-old domestic horse race has a total prize fund of 10 million yuan, and the four-year-old and above domestic horse race has a total prize fund of 4.7 million yuan. In the imported horse race, the total prize money of the event is 6.65 million yuan, and the annual imported horse competition is preset.
