In the morning, the reporter saw at the scene that after the day and night struggle of the construction personnel of the 24th Bureau of China Railway, the construction unit China Railway 24 Bureau, above the Taiping River in the seven rivers and eight islands area, according to the urban expressway standard, a main bridge and two auxiliary bridges have all been closed, spanning the river. On the bridge, workers are dismantling the hanging baskets and carrying out construction on various ancillary facilities of the bridge, including the construction of bridge deck paving and crash walls. At the same time, the construction of relevant roads for the railway-related emergency section of the eastern extension of Jiangping Expressway is also being stepped up.
It is understood that the east extension project of Jiangping East Road is an important part of the "five horizontal and seven vertical" expressway network in the urban area, which is a fast passage to divert the transit traffic of Wenchang Road and connect the main urban area, the new ecological science and technology city and Jiangdu District, and is also an important part of improving the Yangzhou expressway network. The east extension project of Jiangping Expressway starts from Jinwan Road in the east and reaches the North Canal Road in the west, with a total length of 7.2 kilometers. In order to cooperate with the construction of high-speed rail along the north river, the first implementation is the emergency section of the Fenghuang River to the Jinwan River, the project starts from the east bank of the Phoenix River, and crosses the Phoenix Road, Taili Road, Taiping River, Jinwan Island Road, Phoenix Island Road, and finally the west bank of the Jinwan River, with a total length of 2.4 kilometers. The key control node of the entire railway-related emergency section project is the bridge across the Taiping River.
The width of the Taiping River is about 140 meters, the upper span bridge of the Taiping River Bridge is divided into three sections, and the two auxiliary roads are respectively set on both sides of the main line, and the construction of the mode of "three spans and three bridges" is adopted, including 1 main line bridge and 2 auxiliary road bridges, the bridge is 272 meters long, the main line is 26 meters wide, and the auxiliary lines on both sides are 21 meters wide.
Before the Spring Festival, the Taiping River Bridge realized the closure of the main bridge, in the early morning of April 22, the construction personnel after more than 4 hours of hard work, and realized the closure of the two auxiliary road bridges, so far, across the Taiping River Bridge the whole line of the closure.
The cross-section of the east extension project of Jiangping East Road is set according to the main six auxiliary six, the main line is constructed according to the standard of urban expressway, and the design speed is 80 km/h, and the auxiliary road is constructed according to the standard of urban trunk road, and the design speed is 50 km/h. According to the development of the surrounding plots, the road sections are laid out in the form of elevated, ground and tunnel. The Phoenix node adopts the level crossing mode of main line upper span and auxiliary road, and is mainly based on ground expressway. There are 5 bridges, 1 box culvert, and 2 pairs of main and auxiliary entrances and exits on the whole line of the emergency section from the Phoenix River to the Jinwan River. Among them, there are 3 bridges across the Taiping River (1 main line bridge + 2 auxiliary road bridges), 1 main bridge across Fenghuang Road, 1 main bridge across Fenghuangdao Road, and 1 box culvert on Taili Road. Synchronous implementation of municipal pipe network, traffic safety facilities, road lighting and greening relocation and other supporting projects.
The completion of this project will not only provide favorable conditions for the smooth implementation of the high-speed railway along the North Yangtze River, but also promote the development and utilization of the northern part of the ecological science and technology new city and the seven rivers and eight islands, and lay a solid foundation for the long-term implementation of the eastern extension of Jiangping East Road.
After the completion of the east extension of Jiangping East Road, Jiangping Expressway will be directly connected to Jinwan Road, connecting the main city, the new ecological science and technology city and Jiangdu, and the Yangzhou Expressway network will be further improved, which will further promote the integration of Jiangguang and drive regional economic development while improving urban congestion and improving urban quality.
