The 2024 Beijing International Auto Show will open on April 25, and during the pre-show visit, we photographed the new Haval H6 real car. It is understood that the all-new Haval H6 will be officially displayed to the public at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. For reference, the Haval H6 currently on sale includes the third-generation and second-generation Guochao versions, with a price range of 98,900-149,800 yuan.
In terms of appearance, the new generation of Haval H6 adopts the "Galaxy Aesthetics" design language, equipped with a new dot-matrix front grille, compared with the third-generation model, the grille size is larger, and the chrome bezel has been canceled, and the connection with the headlights is also tighter.
On the side of the body, the new generation of Haval H6 basically retains the waistline, roof profile and other details of the third-generation model, but the changes in the front and rear of the car can be clearly seen through comparison. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new generation Haval H6 are 4703/1886/1730 mm, and the wheelbase is 2738 mm. Compared with the third-generation model, the new generation Haval H6 has increased its length by 50 mm, and the width, height, and wheelbase have remained unchanged.
At the rear, the new generation of Haval H6 does not continue the design of the third-generation model with through-type taillights, but is equipped with a new style of split taillights, and the middle of the taillights is the English logo of the Haval brand. The lower half of the rear is largely the same as the third-generation model, except that the chrome trim strip above the license plate holder has been removed. In terms of body color, the new generation of Haval H6 will be available in two metallic paints: Starlight Gold and Interstellar Gray, as well as two pearlescent paints, Xinglan White and Star Vortex Black. In addition, the chrome trim on the third-generation model has been replaced with high-gloss black trim in the door panel trim and luggage rack.
The interior of the new generation Haval H6 adopts a new design, equipped with a floating central control screen and a full LCD instrument, with a central control screen size of 14.6 inches and a full LCD instrument size of 10.25 inches. What's more, the all-new Haval H6 is hardly equipped with any physical buttons in the center console and sub-instrument console positions. In addition, the car will also be equipped with a full-color head-up display with a projection size of 9 inches, and adopt the latest intelligent car machine system, supporting intelligent voice interaction, HiCar/ICOOA interconnection and other functions.
The interior seats are upholstered in leather, and the front seats are heated and ventilated in three adjustable positions. In terms of other configurations, the new generation Haval H6 is also equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a 9-speaker audio system, and a 60-watt charging port. The trunk is equipped with a power tailgate, with a normal volume of 560 liters, and the rear seats can be folded down in a 4/6 ratio.
The new generation of Haval H6 power has not been officially announced, but it can be confirmed through the rear logo of the vehicle that the car will continue to offer two engines, 1.5T and 2.0T. For reference, the current Haval H6 fuel version provides two engines, 1.5T and 2.0T, with a total of 3 powertrains, including:
- The second-generation Haval H6 Guochao version is equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 110 kilowatts and a peak torque of 218 Nm, and the transmission system is matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox;
- The third-generation Haval H6 offers 1.5T and 2.0T powertrains, with a maximum power of 135 kW and 155 kW and a peak torque of 275 Nm and 325 Nm respectively, and the drivetrain is mated to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

As the most well-known model of Haval and even the entire Great Wall Group, Haval H6 has launched three generations of models since 2011, with cumulative sales of more than 4 million units, and has won the SUV sales championship in the domestic market for several consecutive months. However, as the domestic market continues to be hit by new energy vehicles, the competitiveness of its own products and other factors, resulting in the continuous decline of Haval H6 sales, sales in March this year were only 13,811 units, a huge contrast with the previous sales performance.
After the launch, the new generation of Haval H6 still has to face the impact of self-owned brand models such as Changan CS75 PLUS and Geely Xingyue L, as well as joint venture brand models such as Toyota and Nissan.
