In his speech at the conference, Fan Zongchai, secretary of the party group, vice chairman and secretary general of the China Television Association, pointed out that the purpose of holding this conference is to launch a number of TV and online audio-visual art products that promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and further play the important role of TV artists in the development of cultural inheritance.
To this end, the preparation of the conference lasted half a year, and solicited excellent traditional cultural audiovisual content products broadcast in the two years from 2022 to 2023 for domestic radio and television institutions, audio-visual content production institutions, universities and individuals, and a total of 355 institutions (including individuals) applied for 1,513 works, with diverse themes and rich content. Through the preliminary evaluation and final evaluation, according to the five categories of variety show, quyi evening, animation and animation, thematic documentary, and short video, some good works, excellent works, and best works are selected respectively. The three works submitted by the Kuaishou platform, "Intangible Cultural Heritage Emei Martial Arts", "Do Anshun Drama Head" and "Back to the Horse Gun" won the Best Work Award, Excellent Work Award and Good Work Award respectively.
