Recently, Hefei Vanke, together with a number of units, launched the "Forest Hut" construction plan and organized a community life co-construction salon. In places such as Anting New Town in Shanghai and Liangzhu Cultural Village in Hangzhou, similar explorations have been going on for many years and have gradually become the brightest calling card in the community. Thanks to the continuous provision of "warm" community services, Vanke delivered 289,000 units with high quality in 2023, with a customer satisfaction rate of 97%.
On April 21, Hefei Vanke, together with Yanqi Community, Yanqi Community School for the Elderly, and Hefei Daily Media Group's Photography Studio, launched the "Forest Hut" construction plan and organized the first community life co-construction salon. More than 10 representatives of the owners, scholars from Anhui Jianzhu University, and representatives of Vanke Service were invited to discuss the future operation mode of the forest hut and build a better forest life together.
This is a community co-construction based on spatial renewal. The forest hut is provided by the Yanqi community, designed and renovated by Hefei Vanke, and co-created by the owner, and will be built into a communication space that can adapt to different functional modules and practical scenarios.
With the sharing and discussion of the owner's representatives, the exploration of the community life form of the forest hut was gradually concretized. As the main position of neighborhood cultural activities and community operation and maintenance in Hefei Vanke Forest Park, Forest Lodge will focus on community discussions, art exhibitions, performances, enlightenment classes and other modules, and hold community activities on a regular basis to create a local neighborhood cultural center integrating culture, music, art and gatherings for the owners of the forest park.
The forest hut is another self-growth of Vanke Forest Park's "integrated settlement" model. Looking back on the 12 years of Vanke Forest Park, from the planning and fulfillment of the resource chassis, to the renewal of the community public space, to the development of enriching community activities, and now to the launch of the forest hut...... Residential delivery is not the end of a good community, but a new beginning of service. How to provide "warm" community services is a topic that Vanke has been thinking about, and has made valuable practices in many places across the country.
Like Hefei Vanke Forest Park, Shanghai's Anting New Town is also a concrete practice of Vanke's exploration of the "integrated settlement" model. In 2015, Vanke began to participate in the construction of Anting New Town, not only providing high-quality property purchase services, but also focusing on improving supporting services, and planning a variety of product forms suitable for different groups of people in the town, so as to revitalize the community atmosphere.
In Anting New Town, Shanghai Vanke has joined hands with Big Fish Construction (a professional team of community building) to try to create a people-centered community through "community building", so that people living nearby can truly participate in community building, continuously carry out various activities, and actively cooperate to benefit each other in community development, so as to realize the co-construction, co-governance and sharing of the community.
At the end of October 2023, a new placemaking program was launched again, with an interactive public art installation called "Hey, Strangers! Entering the community, the installation encourages communication between strangers and friends, through a connected pipe system that allows visitors to talk to each other at the other end of the plaza.
In addition to community building, since 2019, Shanghai Vanke has been planning various festivals in Anting New Town, such as the Townspeople's Day and Pampering Life Festival, Beer Music Festival, Town Reading Day, Kite Festival, Beer Festival, etc., as well as market activities, all of which have been well received by residents and tenants. In addition to the basic guarantee of hardware and services, a community also needs to create spiritual, emotional, and relational resonance.
Liangzhu Cultural Village, located in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, has become "popular" again because of the "check-in" of athletes from all over the world in the 2023 Asian Games. From the "one blueprint" at the beginning of the planning to the "villager" culture that has been deeply cultivated for more than 20 years, and then to the upgrading of service facilities and operation models in the future community, the project has now formed three tourism center areas and a number of residential villages, forming a collection of natural ecological protection, leisure tourism, residence, economy and culture.
