Xinjiang Oilfield
At present, the forest area of 3,309 acres has been built, with a total of 118,000 trees. The project focuses on carbon sequestration, and has the functions of a popular science base for biodiversity conservation, an "Internet+" voluntary tree planting due diligence base, and a petroleum culture and education base.
【Afforestation of 10,000 well sites】Xinjiang Oilfield actively participated in the "Afforestation Action of 10,000 Well Sites", continued to promote ecological restoration and governance, and made new breakthroughs in biodiversity conservation. At present, 85,000 acres of plantations have been built, which has become a "green lung" to protect the health of the oil city.
★ Nowadays, migratory birds stop in various oil areas of Xinjiang oilfields, and rare and protected animals such as Przewalski's horses, wild asses, and goose-throated gazelles roam the oil areas from time to time. This is a true portrayal of the harmonious coexistence of oilfields and nature and the acceleration of green transformation and development.

Tarim Oilfield
After 19 years of careful cultivation and management, 47,000 acres of shelter forests on both sides of the Tarim Desert Highway are lush and green, and more than 100 species of birds, hares, gerbils and other small animals migrate and inhabit along this "green channel", including goshawks, kestrels, etc., which are national second-class protected animals.
【Tazhong Desert Botanical Garden】The world's first botanical garden located in the hinterland of the mobile desert, covering an area of more than 300 acres. There are more than 200 desert species that are well preserved. Among them, there are 10 species endemic to China, 12 species of rare and endangered species, and 20 species with promotion value.
★ Tarim Oilfield has always adhered to the concept of "developing a block, protecting an oasis, and supporting a blue sky", and has taken care of the fragile ecological environment of the local area, with the continuous expansion of wild animal and plant populations, the continuous enrichment of species diversity, and the steady improvement of ecological functions.

【Garden-style Factory】Dushanzi Petrochemical Company is planted with more than 80 kinds of trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses and other trees suitable for production environment and high survival rate, with a green coverage rate of 24.5%, and the garden-style factory presents a beautiful scene of harmonious coexistence between man and nature with herds of ibgoes, croaking chickens strolling in the courtyard, and birds playing and playing.
★ Dushanzi Petrochemical adheres to the principle of "strict prevention at the source, strict management of the process, and strict punishment of the consequences", continuously tracks advanced environmental protection technologies, establishes a multi-dimensional three-dimensional protection framework for the atmosphere, water and soil, and actively builds a green odor-free factory, and is one of the first batch of "PetroChina Green Enterprises".

Hubei sales
Wild animals under national first-class key protection are mainly distributed below the Jinsha River, the main stream of the Yangtze River in China, to the estuary of the sea, and occasionally appear in other river systems such as the Ganjiang River, Xiangjiang River, Minjiang River, Qiantang River and Pearl River water system.
【Protection of Chinese Sturgeon】In order to optimize the living environment of Chinese sturgeon, Hubei Sales actively cooperated with the local government to dismantle the Yichang oil depot located in the Chinese Sturgeon Nature Reserve, and properly dismantle and clean up the old oil depot to avoid polluting the water environment. In the construction of the new Yichang oil depot, Hubei Sales installed an oil spill monitoring system. At the same time, the new wharf adopts ecological slope protection, which can not only minimize the damage to the environment during the construction process, but also help to quickly restore the ecological environment around the wharf.
★ In order to protect the ecological environment of the Yangtze River Basin, Hubei Sales has conscientiously implemented the concept of green environmental protection, and contributed to the improvement of the ecological environment of the Yangtze River.

Ningxia Petrochemical
Ningxia Petrochemical Company is adjacent to Helan Mountain National Nature Reserve, and the local ecology is extremely fragile. With the goal of building a "pilot demonstration enterprise for ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin", the company continues to increase the production and supply of clean energy, energy conservation and emission reduction, and does a good job in its own greening work with the standard of building a "garden-style factory", and adheres to the principle of "where the factory is built, the greening will be extended".
★ Today, the green area of the company's fertilizer business area and Ninghuayuan community reaches 630,000 square meters, and the green coverage rate reaches 47%, which is higher than the national average. Among them, the two rare relict plants planted in Ninghua Garden are more than 20 meters high and grow vigorously, known as the "giant panda" of the plant world, and have become the representative tree species in the hearts of several generations of employees of the company, and are deeply loved by employees and their families. Not only that, the peacebird, which is greedy and lively, ornamental and included in the list of rare and protected birds in Ningxia, also often forages in the surrounding forests.

Changqing Oilfield
Since its launch in 2021, Changqing Oilfield and the local government have joined hands to plant more than 17,000 acres of spruce, Pinus tabuliformis and other trees and shrubs on 1,000 acres of barren mountains, totaling 167,200 trees. Green well sites, stations, roads, "green waves" on the rolling loess plateau "ripple".
Changqing Oilfield actively builds the Jiyuan Public Welfare Carbon Sink Forest, with a forest area of about 702 acres, planted nearly 50,000 trees such as Pinus sylvestris, Pinus tabuliformis, Xinjiang poplar and other drought-resistant, sand-tolerant and vigorous tree species, and is expected to sequester about 700 tons of carbon per year.
★ In the central block of Sulige in Changqing Oilfield, by strengthening the greening and vegetation restoration of pastoral areas, more than 100,000 trees were planted around the production station and at the shift points in the operation area, and the vegetation coverage area increased by nearly 72,000 square meters, so as to effectively "build an oil and gas field and leave a piece of green".

【Protection of the Yangtze River Finless Porpoise】In recent years, Northeast Sales has aimed to build a "green enterprise", and the affiliated enterprises along the Yangtze River have fully participated in the survival and environmental protection of the Yangtze finless porpoise, providing high-quality habitats for the finless porpoise.
★ Northeast Sales resolutely put an end to the flow of oil products into the Yangtze River, supervise and crack down on illegal fishing, protect the ecological environment of the Yangtze River, ensure the stability of the finless porpoise's living environment, and contribute to the protection of national wildlife.

North China Oilfield
【Independent Contribution Biodiversity Reserve】The former sewage pond, today's Swan Lake - Alshan East Lake Wetland. North China Oilfield continues to promote water quality and air quality improvement projects, widely carry out publicity and education on ecological environmental protection and wetland protection, mobilize all employees to actively participate in biodiversity conservation, and carry out theme activities such as artificial bird's nest setting on a regular basis, so as to continuously improve the wetland environment.
Nearly 10,000 people actively responded to PetroChina's "I Plant Trees for Carbon Neutrality" activity, organized large-scale voluntary tree planting and sand control activities in Bayan Oilfield, and planted more than 600 Saxon trees to add "green of life" to the long sand dunes. In the Qinshui Basin of Shanxi Province, we will continue to carry out the construction of "ecological well sites", increase the area of green space by about 60,000 square meters in 2023, and plant 27,000 trees.
★In 2023, Huabei Oilfield will cooperate with relevant universities to carry out in-depth surveys of the natural environment, flora and fauna, formulate management systems and long-term protection plans, and continuously improve the stability and sustainability of the structure and function of the East Lake wetland ecosystem.
