On the evening of April 17, the eighth grade of Daliuta No. 1 Experimental Middle School in Shenmu City grandly launched the 2022 "One Stop to the End" Chinese subject literacy activity in the Yuanpei Lecture Hall. This event is divided into three stages: "Stubborn Bronze", "Eternal Diamond" and "Glory King". Students need to analyze the relevant questions within the specified time and show the options in time, the wrong students sit in place to watch the competition, and the correct students can continue to answer the next question. As soon as the host's voice fell, the prepared students held up the tabs, and the atmosphere suddenly became warm! With the announcement of one topic after another, the students immersed themselves in the process of knowledge quiz and also felt the fun of learning, and the laughter and cheers on the scene came one after another.
In the end, 20 students won the title of "Glory King" with their rich knowledge reserves and the spirit of courage to break through, and Tang Yihui, the eighth grade (15) class, won the title of "The Strongest 'Station' God". The development of this activity has improved the enthusiasm of students to learn Chinese and consolidated their basic Chinese skills. In order to cultivate students' information visualization thinking, our school has set up a pre-course for city shows. This course revolves around the design of urban artworks in the city show, and this assignment digs deep into the urban culture, with rich and attractive content, rich pictures and texts, harmonious and natural color matching, reflecting individuality and creativity, and the layout design is novel and unique, with style, highlighting the characteristics of each city. In the project-based learning, students have improved their knowledge and understanding of urban culture and urban development, and also enhanced their logical thinking ability and creative thinking ability, which has laid a solid foundation for subsequent thinking development and display of urban charm.
In order to create a good atmosphere for English learning, exercise students' logical thinking, and enhance students' sense of belonging and collective honor to the campus. Recently, our Grade 8 English Group launched an English brochure design competition with the theme of "Teaching Peiwen in English". The campus brochure created by the students is very exquisite, using posters, handwritten letters, scrapbooks and other forms, with full English introduction, showing the beautiful scenery of Peiwen's campus and recording the students' learning and life in the school, and the students' love for the school is between the lines. Teachers will evaluate the handbook based on the accuracy of its content, the creativity of its composition, and the degree of exquisiteness of its production.
