Jinpen Township is located in the north of Zhongshan District, bordering Guoquanyan Township, Nayong County, Bijie City in the east, Zuojiujia Township, Hezhang County, and Songlinpo Township in Hezhang County in the north. On the basis of summarizing and applying the relevant experience of grassroots governance in recent years, in May 2023, four townships and towns, including Jinpen, Guoquanyan, Zuojiujia and Songlinpo, established the "Joint Linkage and Joint Defense Working Mechanism for Grassroots Social Governance" to provide ideas for solving cross-departmental and cross-regional problems in grassroots social governance.
