Cultural relics are the memory of history. The red cultural relics carry the glorious history of the heroic struggle of the party and the people, witness the great course of China's revolution, construction and reform, and are vivid teaching materials for carrying forward the revolutionary tradition, stimulating patriotic enthusiasm and invigorating the national spirit. "The Long March in Cultural Relics" uses cultural relics as a guide, history as a medium, combined with expert interviews, to tell the story of the Long March and inherit the red gene.

Located at No. 96, Ziyin Road, Honghuagang District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, the site of the Zunyi Conference is a national key cultural relics protection unit, the core part of the Zunyi Conference Memorial Hall, a national AAAA-level scenic spot, and the place where the Zunyi Conference was held with great historical significance.
The meeting site house was originally the private residence of Bai Huizhang, commander of the second division of the 25th Army of the Kuomintang Army, built in the early thirties of the last century, the building is composed of two parts: the main building and the cross-courtyard, which is a combination of Chinese and Western brick and wood structure building. The Zunyi Conference Room is on the second floor and is a rectangular room with an area of 27 square meters. There is a wall clock and two wall cabinets on the wall, and in the center of the room is a rectangular table, surrounded by a circle of wooden-rimmed rattan folding chairs, and under the table there is a brazier.
During the Zunyi Conference, Zhu De, commander-in-chief of the Red Army, Zhou Enlai, chief of the General Political Commissar, and Liu Bocheng, chief of the General Staff, lived on the second floor, Peng Dehuai, Yang Shangkun, Liu Shaoqi, and Li Zhuoran lived on the first floor, and the war room of the First Bureau of the General Headquarters was set up on the first floor.
The Zunyi Conference was convened in order to correct the erroneous rule of "leftist" dogmatism in the Central Committee and save the Red Army and the Chinese revolution in the face of the failure of the Red Army's fifth anti-"encirclement and suppression" campaign and the serious setbacks suffered in the early stage of the Long March.
The meeting adopted four decisions:
1. Comrade Mao Zedong was elected as a member of the Standing Committee.
2. Comrade Luo Fu (i.e., Zhang Wentian) was appointed to draft the resolution, which was entrusted to the Standing Committee for review and sent to the branch for discussion.
3. Appropriate division of labor should be carried out among the members of the Standing Committee.
Fourth, the "three-man regiment" will be abolished, and the supreme military chief Zhu (De) and Zhou (Enlai) will still be the military commander, and Comrade Enlai will be the person entrusted by the party to be responsible for the final determination to command the military.
This meeting, at an extremely critical historical juncture, saved the party, the Red Army, and the Chinese revolution. Since then, under the leadership of the correct line of Marxism represented by Mao Zedong, the Communist Party of China has been able to overcome numerous difficulties and lead the Chinese revolution to victory step by step. The Zunyi Conference was a life-and-death turning point in the party's history, marking the beginning of the political maturity of the Communist Party of China.
In recent years, the Memorial Hall of the Zunyi Conference has deeply excavated the historical experience and spiritual connotation of the Zunyi Conference, vigorously inherited the red gene, and told the story of Zunyi. Nowadays, it is a classroom for the people of the whole country to study the history of the party and the education of revolutionary traditions, and it is an important position for inheriting the red gene and continuing the red blood, with more than 4 million tourists visiting every year.
In order to further play the function of patriotic education, from May 20, 2023, the museum will be open at night, and the closing time will be extended from 17:00 to 21:00, and more than 4.6 million visitors will be received in 2023.
