On April 18, Zheng Ruimin, a researcher at the Maternal and Child Health Center of the National Health Commission, and his party investigated the screening of "two cancers" in Huili City, and experts from Sichuan Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital and relevant leaders of Liangshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital participated in the investigation.
At the research symposium, Zheng Ruimin introduced the background and purpose of the investigation, Yang Wenli, director of the Huili Municipal Health Bureau, made a work report on the two cancer screening projects in Huili City, and the research team exchanged and discussed with the participants to learn more about the difficulties in the screening of "two cancers" in Huili City.
Subsequently, the research team conducted on-the-spot inspections of the gynecology, colposcopy room, imaging department and other departments of the Huili Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning Service Center, asked the relevant medical staff about the mastery of the theoretical knowledge and practical operation related to the "two cancers" examination, and learned about the fund management, health education, service process, capacity improvement, and follow-up of positive/suspicious cases of the "two cancers" screening project of the project management office. The research team fully affirmed the achievements of Huili City in the "two cancers" screening project in recent years, and provided suggestions for the next work direction.
