In fact, less than half a year ago, there were very few electric SUV models with a budget of 15-200,000 yuan, and the more popular ones were only BYD Song PLUS EV, Volkswagen ID.4, Deep Blue S7 EV, Leap C11 EV and other models.
That is, in recent months, BYD Song L has been listed, Xpeng G6 has been reduced in price, and the threshold has been killed within 200,000. What's even more important is that just two days ago, the two models of the smart brand, Elf #1 and #3, have been significantly reduced, and the minimum threshold has reached 154,900, completely giving up the previous positioning of the 200,000+ market.
In other words, the electric SUV options at the price of 15-200,000 yuan are now very rich, and they cover various characteristics such as large space, dynamic appearance, luxury and refinement, intelligent technology, etc., and there are basically choices for small partners with all kinds of needs.
For example, if space and practicality are required, the Song PLUS EV with an A+ body has a starting price of 149,800 yuan, and the Leap C11 EV, which is positioned as a mid-size SUV, has a starting price of 151,800 yuan.
If you feel that the 189,800-priced Zeekrypton X is expensive, the elf #1 and #3 of the smart brand have dropped their starting prices to 15.49 and 164,900 respectively, which greatly reduces the threshold for maintenance in Mercedes-Benz 4S stores.
There are high requirements for intelligent car machines and intelligent driving systems, and the whole system is equipped with 8155 chips and high-speed intelligent driving Xiaopeng G6, the starting price has reached 179,900, which is basically the benchmark for intelligence at the same price;

When Xiaopeng G6 was launched in June last year, the starting price was set at 209,900, and because the sales volume was not very optimistic, it gradually reduced the price by 20,000 yuan, and the threshold has been reduced to 200,000. In April this year, Xpeng G6 added a 580 long battery life Plus version, with a guide price of 199,900, which was further reduced to 179,900 after the discount.
That is to say, at the current price of 200,000 yuan, you can buy two configurations of Xpeng G6 with a range of 580 kilometers, both of which are single-motor rear-wheel drive versions. As for the 755-kilometer ultra-long endurance version, it will still be about 215,000 after the discount, and the four-wheel drive version is still as high as more than 250,000.
It can be seen from the configuration list that the price difference between the G6 Plus version and the Pro version is 20,000 yuan, but only the main driver's lumbar support is missing, the seat ventilation is missing, and the audio has shrunk from 18 speakers to 8 speakers, and the rest of the configurations are basically the same. Similar to high-speed intelligent driving, 800V high-voltage platform, etc., are retained, and the cost performance is very high, which is essentially a real price reduction.
Compared with other competing products within 200,000, Xpeng G6's 800V platform, vehicle-machine interaction and intelligent driving capabilities have obvious advantages. Although the space is not the largest, the size of the medium-sized car, the blessing of the double wishbone front overhang, and the practicality and handling are also excellent.
If you have to talk about the shortcomings, it may be that the relatively simple interior of the Xpeng G6 is not as refined as the Zeekr X and Song L, but it is still much better than older models such as the Song PLUS EV.

The two models of the smart brand are no longer new, among which the Elf #1 was launched in mid-2022, with a starting price of as high as 194,000 yuan, and the kingpin configuration was completely above 200,000 yuan, and the Elf #3 was launched last year, with a starting price of 209,900 yuan, and both models were mainly aimed at the market of more than 200,000 yuan.
Due to the small body and high price, the price ratio of the Elf #1 was a little low when it was first launched, and after a price cut in the middle, coupled with this month's facelift, the price thresholds for the Elf #1 and #3 were reduced to 154,900 and 164,900 respectively. Considering the relationship between smart and Mercedes, this price can be considered quite aggressive.
The biggest selling point of Elf #1 and #3 is undoubtedly the luxury attribute of the Mercedes-Benz brand, and the exterior and interior are stylish and sophisticated enough, which is very suitable for urban white-collar workers as boutique scooters. And after the price reduction, it has basically become the only model that can meet these positioning in the current 150,000 range.
In addition, although the body is not large, the space utilization rate of the Phantom #1 and #3 is excellent, and the space and comfort of the rear row are excellent. For young people, they can also take on the role of the main car.

The battery life is not long, but if it is clearly used as a city scooter, it is more than enough. If you already have a main car at home and want to buy a scooter with luxury attributes, the Elf #1 and #3 are the lowest threshold options among electric SUVs.
Zeekr X
As smart elf #1 and #3的同平台车型, when Zeekr X was first launched, the price threshold was lower, but after that, Zeekrypton X did not drop the price as much as the smart brand, and the price threshold for the 2024 model launched in January this year has increased from the previous 189,800 to 200,000.
Of course, this is only a superficial phenomenon, the new Extreme Krypton X is actually cut off the single-motor rear-wheel drive version, the whole system uses four-wheel drive, and the threshold is actually reduced by 10,000 yuan compared with the old four-wheel drive. At the same time, a new monocular camera has been added, wireless charging has been upgraded to 60W fast charging, seat massage and Yamaha audio have been changed to standard, and the cost performance has been improved.
However, compared with the smart brand with a big price cut, the facelift of ZEEKR X is still a bit insincere, and ZEEKR does not seem to have obvious sales pressure on this car, and with the comparison of ZEEKR X, the two electric SUVs of the smart brand are more competitive.
The biggest advantage of the new ZEEKR X is that the whole system is equipped with dual-motor four-wheel drive as standard, which has strong power. The threshold is also lower than that of the Genie series after the price reduction. However, from the perspective of boutique urban SUVs, the power of breaking 100 in 3 seconds is not necessary, and ZEEKR X is also significantly behind Xpeng G6, Zhiji LS6 and other models in terms of voltage platform and intelligent driving, so unless I particularly like this car, ZEEKR X is not currently cost-effective.
BYD Song L
When the BYD Song L was launched at the end of last year, the starting price of 189,900 was much lower than the previous pre-sale price, but there are still some obvious shortcomings in this car.
For example, the rear-wheel drive version of the starting version has average power, with 204 horsepower and 8.5 seconds to break 100 parameters, which are obviously lagging behind competing products; there is no first-line car machine chip, and the cockpit intelligence is slightly outdated; there is no lidar in the whole system, and high-speed, urban intelligent driving is completely absent, for the new car to be launched at the end of 2023, it is already lagging behind the performance of competing products.
Even so, in the electric SUV market at a price of 200,000 yuan, the sales volume of Song L is still significantly higher than that of Xpeng G6, Zhiji LS6 and other models.
First of all, the size, the wheelbase is 2930mm, the length and width of the car are 4840mm and 1950mm respectively, which is half a lap larger than the Xpeng G6 and Leap C11, which are also medium-sized SUVs. Although the height of the car is only 1560mm, and the fastback design is adopted, the headroom in the rear row is not very cramped, and the angle and height of the seats are reasonable, and the comfort of the rear row is quite excellent.
In addition, BYD's positioning of the Song L is a boutique electric SUV, and the internal materials, workmanship and overall texture are much higher than those of the Song PLUS EV, Tang EV and other models, which fully matches its relatively high price.
In other words, if you want an electric SUV with enough space, comfortable sitting and exquisite interior, Song L is basically the one with a more outstanding performance within 200,000 at present. However, it has two configurations within 200,000, and the power is indeed weak, and the real large-scale volume is still more than 200,000 or two long-range rear-wheel drive versions, and the power of breaking 100 in 6.9 seconds is basically on par with competing products.
