With the theme of "Spring Flower Qiu Food, Advancing with 'Food'", this year's Food Expo is co-sponsored by China Food Industry Association and Hebei Food Industry Association, and undertaken by Qiu County Food Industry Association, aiming to build a food expo platform based in Qiu County, radiating Hebei and looking at the whole country, and strive to build a professional exhibition in the food industry with wide influence and strong attraction in North China and even the whole country, and promote regional economic development.
The food industry is an important pillar industry for the development of the mainland's national economy. Hebei has abundant agricultural resources and has unique advantages in food processing. The expo will bring a rare learning and exchange opportunity for many food enterprises in our province and boost the development of the food industry to a new level. At the same time, it is of great significance to comprehensively enhance the popularity and brand influence of "Qiu County Food", further expand and strengthen the food industry in Qiu County, and comprehensively promote the healthy development of the food industry.
The exhibition area of this food expo is 50,000 square meters, and there are 500 exhibitors. Set up a comprehensive food exhibition area, brand image exhibition area, Hebei food exhibition area, domestic group exhibition area, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and international exhibition area, Qiu County food and machinery raw materials exhibition area and other six exhibition areas, with a modern and fashionable image to display the company's new products, new technologies, new achievements.
During the period, the 7th Member Congress of Hebei Food Industry Association and the Food Industry Promotion and Exchange Conference will also be held, and the Spring Food Industry Innovation and Development Summit Forum with the theme of "'Preview' Hebei and 'Food In' Forward" will be held to study and judge the development trend of the food industry, exchange cutting-edge ideas, and create a hot spot for communication. In recent years, Qiu County has put the development of food industry in the strategic position of strengthening the county's characteristic industries, grasped the coordinated development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and created a pattern of "multiple parks and one district" in Beijing Food Industrial Park, Dongguan Food Industrial Park, Halal Food Industrial Park and Food Industry Gathering Area, and successively introduced more than 200 food enterprises of various types in Beijing, Tianjin, Guangdong and other places, forming a Beijing food represented by Ma Dajie and Jiweixuan, Guangdong food represented by Weimeng and Xinmeng, and Huapu Sunshine and Fujian food represented by Zhongxiang and Qiu food represented by Kangyuan Co., Ltd. and Aobeisi have been successfully listed as "strong counties in the national food industry" and "strong counties in the food industry in Hebei Province". Up to now, there are 13 provincial-level "specialized, special and new" small and medium-sized enterprises and 11 state-level high-tech enterprises in the food industry cluster of Qiu County. In 2023, the food industry cluster will achieve an operating income of 12.01 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.17%, driving the employment of more than 20,000 people. Since the beginning of this year, Qiu County has researched and formulated the "Three-year Action Plan for the Fission Development of Qiu County's Food Industry (2024-2026)", focusing on advantageous sectors, strengthening safeguard measures, and promoting the fission development of the food industry.
