iFLYTEK Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002230, stock abbreviation: iFLYTEK) released its financial results today. According to the financial report, iFLYTEK's revenue in the first quarter of 2024 will be 3.646 billion yuan, an increase of 26.27% from 2.888 billion yuan in the same period last year.

iFLYTEK's revenue in the first quarter was 3.646 billion: a year-on-year increase of 26% and a net loss of 300 million

iFLYTEK's net loss in the first quarter of 2024 was 300 million yuan, compared with a net loss of 57.895 million yuan in the same period last year, and a net loss after deducting non-profits was 440 million yuan, compared with a net loss of 338 million yuan in the same period last year.

iFLYTEK said that the net profit attributable to the parent company and non-net profit deducted in the first quarter of 2024 decreased by 242 million yuan and 102 million yuan respectively compared with the same period last year, mainly because the company actively seized the historical new opportunity of general artificial intelligence and firmly invested in general artificial intelligence cognitive large models:

On the one hand, in the first quarter of 2024, the company will invest about 300 million yuan in the research and development of large models, the independent and controllable core technology and industrial chain, and the landing and expansion of the large model industry. Among them, R&D expenses were 842 million yuan, an increase of 126 million yuan compared with the same period last year. Although the above investment has affected the company's short-term operating performance, it has further laid a solid foundation for continuing to consolidate the industrial status of iFLYTEK artificial intelligence national team:

On January 30, 2024, the first iFLYTEK Xinghuo V3.5 trained on the national computing power platform was officially upgraded and released, with language understanding, math ability, and voice interaction ability surpassing GPT-4 Turbo, code reaching 96% of GPT-4 Turbo, and multimodal understanding reaching 91% of GPT-4V. In addition, the iFLYTEK Xinghuo voice model was released for the first time, and in terms of multilingual speech recognition, the first batch of 37 mainstream languages surpassed the effect of OpenAI Whisper V3.

On the other hand, the main influencing factors also include the investment income of 134 million yuan in the first quarter of 2023 from financial assets such as Sanrenxing and Cambrian held by the company, and a decrease of 123 million yuan in the first quarter of 2024 compared with the same period last year.
