On April 18, the Huangludian Court of the Nanzhao County People's Court launched the "Public Open Day" activity, inviting more than 60 students from Huangludian No. 1 Junior High School to walk into the courtroom to experience the court's work at "zero distance" and experience the sunshine justice.
Under the leadership of Judge Hao Xia of the Huangludian Court, the students visited the cultural corridor of the court, learned about the cultural construction of the court, and felt the cultural heritage of the court.
Coming to the courtroom, Judge Hao Xia explained to the students the functions of the court, the meaning of the robe, the emblem and the gavel, as well as the duties of judges, prosecutors, defenders, clerks and bailiffs. With the encouragement of the judges, the students played the roles of the presiding judge, judge, clerk, defender, and defendant with curiosity.
After the mock trial, Judge Hao Xia also distributed legal knowledge publicity color pages to the students, and combined with her own trial experience, she used easy-to-understand language to explain the law to the students, and educate the students to enhance their legal awareness, consciously abide by laws and regulations, stay away from violations and crimes, and learn to use legal weapons to protect themselves when necessary.
In the next step, the Nanzhao Court will continue to enrich the forms of rule of law publicity, and carry out activities such as "public open days" and "sending the law to campus" on a regular basis, so as to create a good legal environment for the healthy growth of young people.
