In order to further advocate the concept of green travel and civilized riding, jointly create a safe, harmonious, civilized and orderly public riding environment, and solidly promote the construction of a civilized city, on April 22, 2024, 30 Dongwang volunteers from Yingze Faithfulness Classroom and service personnel in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, walked into various bus lines in Taiyuan in groups and got on the bus to carry out the "Safe and Civilized Ride" volunteer service publicity activity.
During the event, volunteers wore red vests and walked into the bus stop signs to guide passengers to get on the bus in an orderly manner. "Hello master, we are volunteers, preaching safe and civilized riding for everyone. After getting the approval of the driver, he will publicize and preach the knowledge of safe riding, civilized riding and traffic laws and regulations to the masses, and enhance the safety awareness of passengers and drivers through safety knowledge preaching, and guide the masses to take positive actions to develop good habits of civilized travel and compliance with traffic laws. The volunteers also preached "Earth Day" to the passengers, telling everyone that today is a special holiday for world environmental protection, guiding everyone to participate in environmental protection and improve the overall environment of the earth through green and low-carbon life. During the presentation, the passengers listened carefully and applauded continuously. "I didn't expect to be able to increase my knowledge by taking the bus, thank you!" said one passenger with emotion.
The development of this activity further enhanced the awareness of civilized travel and civilized courtesy of the general public, conveyed the concept and importance of civilized traffic to the citizens, and advocated everyone to consciously maintain traffic order and jointly participate in creating a safe, orderly, civilized and smooth traffic environment.
