Quanzhou Evening News, April 15 (Quanzhou Evening News Financial Media Reporter Wu Congwei) The 2024 China Roller Skating Marathon Open (Shanghai Station) was held on the 14th, and the Quanzhou team won the 5th, 9th and 10th places in one competition.
The competition attracted nearly 1,000 roller skaters and enthusiasts from 26 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country.
On the morning of the 14th, the contestants set off from the Bund and passed through People's Square, Huaihai Middle Road, the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the old town, and the Huangpu Riverside, and experienced the classic characteristics, cultural charm and beautiful environment of Huangpu in an all-round way.
The members of the Quanzhou speed skating team fully carried forward the spirit of Quanzhou people who love to fight and dare to win, overcame the influence of unfavorable factors such as lack of experience and wet track, and successfully completed the competition task, and many team members made breakthroughs in their achievements. Quanzhou runners achieved good results in the 10km junior group and 10km open group races, of which the junior group runners won the 5th and 10th places, and the open group runners won the 9th place.
It is reported that the Quanzhou team participating in this competition is based on the Dehua County speed skating team. The Dehua County Speed Skating Team was established in 2022, and the team members are mainly from primary and secondary schools in Dehua.
