On April 22, BAIC officially announced that its new Beijing BJ40 Blade Hero Edition was launched, but this time only the gasoline version was listed, and the official guide price was 189,800 yuan, and the diesel version that had been pre-sold before would be launched in May.
In terms of appearance, the new car basically follows the design language of the BJ40 City Hunter Edition on sale, with a number of bulging rib lines on the front hatch cover, which has a strong sense of muscle;
The lower bumper is equipped with a thick black bumper, small fog lamps are integrated on both sides, and the bottom is equipped with a stout silver-gray scuff plate, highlighting the hardcore atmosphere, and the overall sense of power is very well created.
In terms of side styling, the roofline is relatively straight, and the body feels quite square, which is a common design language for hard-core SUVs; the waistline adopts a through-type design, which makes the visual effect appear slender and atmospheric, and at the same time enhances the layering of the side of the body; the roof also has a little floating shape, and the style looks more fashionable. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 4790/1940/1929mm, the wheelbase is 2760mm, the ground clearance is 20mm higher than that of the City Hunter version, the wading depth has been increased to 800mm, and the standard 265/65 R17 AT tires are standard.
The interior is unchanged, with a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a full LCD instrument cluster, a dual central console/passenger screen, and an electronic gear knob.
In terms of equipment, the new car offers tire pressure display, automatic parking, hill start assist, hill descent, center differential lock, rear axle differential lock, electric tow hook, reversing radar, panoramic view, keyless entry, one-button start, automatic LED headlights, automatic wipers, electric adjustment of the main driver's seat, rear seat backrest angle adjustment/proportional recline, pioneer audio, automatic air conditioning and rear exhaust air vents.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T gasoline engine with a maximum power of 245 horsepower and a peak torque of 395Nm, matched with an 8AT gearbox and a four-wheel drive system.
