Most of Qi Baishi's painting subjects and the emotions they contain are derived from his life experience. He depicts everything he has experienced, and always uses a certain experience as the psychological background of his creation. He has more experience than ordinary painters, and is more adept at painting the imagination and visual images of art with his own experience, which is a portrayal of Qi Baishi's genius and ability.
This is the theme of longevity peach and osmanthus often selected by Qi Baishi, and what is eye-catching is the vase with folded osmanthus behind the longevity peach, which is extremely rare in Qi Baishi's flower and bird paintings. The use of objects and images in the painting as the meaning of blessing is one of the doors of traditional Chinese literati painting. Shou peach means longevity because of its homonym "longevity", the bottle is peace, and the osmanthus flower has been regarded as a symbol of wealth since ancient times. Unifying the three into the painting is obviously a very high blessing.

The composition of this painting is concise, the two groups of longevity peach and vase are staggered before and after, the front two delicate and dripping big longevity peaches are held in the basket, which is written in the boneless method, and directly depicts the full shape and bright color of the peach with magenta and garcinia cambogia. The bamboo basket is outlined with thick ink, the brushwork is dignified and vigorous, and its rough form forms an interesting contrast with the brightness of the peach; Osmanthus is written in freehand, with ink to write osmanthus branches and leaf tendons, green and green smudge laurel leaves, the shade is suitable, the painted laurel branches are luxuriant, but in the confusion to create a rich picture space.
