With the previous BYD Seal Glory Edition model just launched, it is expected that the new model is expected to be officially launched in the second half of this year. Compared with the current model, the exterior and interior of the new car have not changed much, mainly for the details of the position of the adjustment to varying degrees. At the same time, the new car will also be equipped with a new powertrain, with a maximum pure electric range of 650km.
In terms of appearance, according to the exposed information, the new car continues the design language of the current model as a whole, and the overall visual effect is relatively sporty. The front face also adopts the closed grille design that is customary to new energy models, with "U" headlights on both sides, and it is expected that its night recognition is also more prominent. At the same time, the lower bracket is based on the design concept of "marine aesthetics", with the diversion grooves on both sides, and its visual effect is also relatively sporty.
On the side of the body, the new car also maintains a fastback body shape, coupled with a relatively low body, which creates a good driving desire. At the same time, there are all kinds of designs such as frameless sides, hidden door handles, and large-size wheels, which can basically meet the needs of the vast majority of consumers. As for the size, the new model is also expected to be the same as the current model.
The rear is also expected to adopt a through-type taillight design, with light cavities similar to the shape of "water droplets" on both sides, which echo the front face as a whole. In terms of powertrain, the new car will also be equipped with a new powertrain. The entry-level model will be equipped with a high-power electric motor mated to a 61.44 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, reducing the CLTC all-electric range to 510 km and the top speed to 220 km/h. The rear-wheel drive version of the model has a maximum power of 170kW and 230kW respectively, matched with a capacity of 61.44kWh and 80.64kWh Fodi batteries, and the CLTC pure electric range is 510km and 650km respectively, which is also reduced compared with the current model, and the four-wheel drive version will also be equipped with front and rear dual motors, with a maximum power of 390kW, matched with a capacity of 80.64kWh Fodi batteries, and a CLTC pure electric range of 600km.
