Stories light up my childhood, and reading grows with me - Dawn Volunteer Service Team carries out world reading activities

On the morning of April 21, the Zouping Chenxi Volunteer Service Team organized and carried out the world reading theme activity of "Stories Light Up Childhood, Reading Grows with Me". Director Wang of the Zouping Civil Affairs Bureau, Director Cui of the Library, Director Zhao of the Civil Affairs Bureau and Director Liu of the Juvenile Protection Center of the Civil Affairs Bureau attended the event!

In the morning light of spring, five volunteers from the Dawn Volunteer Service Team, including Mu Weiwei, Liu Bin, Zhao Meiqing, Sun Shoutao and Xin Ying, drove to pick up orphaned children.

The children arrived at the library with anticipation, and the volunteers and staff were already waiting at the door to greet the children. When they came to the library, the children visited the first floor and learned about the history of the library and the culture of Zouping.

On the second floor, the children read their favorite books independently, and at the same time experienced the process of borrowing and returning books in the library, preparing the children for borrowing books from the library in the future.

When they came to the third floor, the children visited the piano room and experienced the feeling of stroking the piano for themselves. After listening to the reading guidance of President Yue Lingxuan Wang, the children benefited a lot, books are the ladder of human progress, and the students have a deep understanding and feeling of reading.

Finally, the Civil Affairs Bureau and the library prepared exquisite gifts and books for each child, expressing their love and expectations for the children!
